    Version 4.3 is live.

This mainly fix compatibility issues with XPMSE and Immersive Camera, which both had a tendency to set the quiver scale back to its default value. v4.1 was built before these were 100% operational in SE so never tested against. Sorry it took years to give this a look.

Also added native support for Throwing Weapons Lite, ESPFE'd the plugin, and improved the scripts robustness and maintainability.

It seems some people are/were encountering an issue with shields (probably on back) going invisible. If you know about this this, please point me to which one you're using. It's likely not fixable (shield display attached to the quiver node... while AHA work by hiding the quiver node...), but at least documenting the incompatibility would be good.

Finally, I'm not actively maintaining mods. I'll try to get around issues if there is any big ones with this version, but if you think you have the know-how and the will to maintain it, please shoot me or the caretaker a message and I'll pass it along. I tried to make the source as easy to understand as possible.

I'm not going to delete any post, but I'm not going to bother answering individually to stupid comments either.

Yes, if you only want quiver hidden, just use RaceMenu / XPMSE to permanently hide quiver.
Yes, if you only play in 1st person, you don't need this mod.
Yes, if you play with a GearedUp kind of mod, you likely don't need this mod.
Yes, if you always have your bow equipped you don't need this mod.
Yes, if you like seeing your quiver displayed regardless, you don't need this mod.
Yes, if you don't play Skyrim, you don't need this mod.
Yes, there is alternatives, you're welcome to use them instead if you prefer, they're listed below.
No, it's not because there is ammo in the title that every single thing happening in your game that somehow relate to ammo is due to this mod.

    Also, use your brain:

    Known alternatives:
    Unequip Quiver SE (recommended)

Auto Unequip Ammo (Oldrim, need manual unpacking and porting)
    Dynamic Equipment Manager SKSE Updated

Amazing mod! The best of its kind.
The only one that is not resulting in Hook CTD. And is working on all game versions!

Has anyone experienced this mod causing the Elder Scroll not to appear on Serana's back?  I know she's an NPC but...

      Copied from Description page:

"This is player only. If wanted for NPCs, consider other alternatives. If needed for followers only, look for follower mods, some handle it."

Just confirmed a bug I encountered in the set of mods I have installed that breaks the latest AE version of my game.  Firing a bow and hitting a target resulted in a CTD.  Not always the first shot, but definitely by the second.  Disabled and game now functions properly.  It always worked perfectly before the latest Bethesda Game code AE update.  I use Vortex and have 211 active and 791 light mods installed, so there's obviously a LOT of variables not worth addressing from my build.

If others encounter the same problem, I replaced it with the "no esp" (script only) version dated May 2022 (link below) and have the same functionality with no crashes.   https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/67760

Downloaded, installed and it just works!

I'd like to endorse, but I get a "do not enter" symbol on Nexus mod page when hovering over the button.  Their summary says I didn't download it, but the files page agrees I did.

In any case, as a primarily 3rd person player, thanks for a really useful experience.

Just tried with SKSE 2.1.3 and Anniversary Edition and this mod does NOT work. I tried unequiping the arrows and re-equiping the bow then unequipe the bow and the arrow still stay on the back of my character.

My bad, for some really annoying reason, Vortex does NOT automatically enable esp files in the plugins tab. I simply enabled the plugin and this mod works with SKSE 2.1.3 for the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim.

Then you both have no clue as to how Vortex works and what the functions are that Vortex offers the user.
For example, Vortex can automate (or not) a lot of stuff for you. Have a look under Settings and you will find :

      • Deploy Mods when Enabled
      • Install Mods when downloaded
      • Enable Mods when installed (in current profile)
      • Run Vortex when my computer starts

You might find the green ones very useful

It's so easy to mod your game using Vortex
      Cheers

Well, Mr. @DarkDominion, that's a bit harsh and disrespectful to judge that we BOTH do not know how Vortex works. On my part, I know how it works and I created 3 Guides (CBM Guide, CBM Guide X and CBM Guide AE) that proves that I know how to mod with Vortex. But I am not here to debate that. I'm here for people that fall on this comment to know what to do.

Your green options DO NOT enable PLUGINS. Read your proposed options, they all speak of MODS not PLUGINS.

The option that I happen to have found was in the "Workarounds" tab in the Settings:

Once I enabled this option, all my mods' ESP files enable properly.

It seems that vortex does not always sync their plugins with their mods actions making some plugins NOT activate when the ESP file is added by a Vortex installed mod hence the misleading message in the screenshot "plugins you add to the game directory outside Vortex". I understand Vortex to NOT enable manually copied ESPs but Vortex should AT LEAST have a mechanism to detect ESP installed from it's mods. So I figure that this is something the Vortex team should fix because the above fix DOES indeed fix the issue but it applies a general rule and some of us may not want all plugins to be enabled as soon as they are copied (because other files are needed or mod is in a WIP state). BUT, for now, for me, this option suffices me and does the job since I usually always expect Skyrim to play with all the ESPs enabled. I figure that if an ESP is present in my game's Data folder, it's because I want to play with it in the game. But yeah, the option I showed in the screenshot above IS the solution for ESP files not enabling themselves in the Plugins tab.

Just please becareful when saying something about someone you do not know the next time. But, Thanks for pointing out those options too, if they help someone else, well, they'll have found their answer here through your comment.
