Special Note: The edited base game scripts for this mod are packed in the accompanying .bsa file, so the Nexus Mod Manager/Vortex won't complain if another mod has already installed their own versions of those same scripts. If you are unsure, check your Skyrim Special Edition/data/scripts/ folder and make sure there are no QF_BQxx_xxxx.pex scripts present (there are 4 of them). If you see any, get rid of them, as they will take precedence over the ones in this mod's .bsa file. also if other mods have the same scripts pack into a .bsa file, then most likely you put Bounty Gold last in the load order, well as close as you can if you have other stuff that need to be last. make sure you use B.A.E. - Bethesda Archive Extractor to check other mods .bsa files just to be sure.
Permission: any one is free to make compatibility patches for this mod. as to why I'm putting this here its cause i don't have the time or skill set to mess with this stuff.
This mod is incompatible with Bounty Preview! Using both will result in regular rewards. Bounty Preview alters the QF_BQ files. Load order won't matter. I don't know what are the changes made by Bounty Preview, but deleting these files (QF_BQ files) fixes the issue without breaking anything. Didn't do a lot of testing, but so far, both mods are working. o/
Headhunter - Bounties Redone description KNOWN ISSUES & COMPATIBILITY
If you have a mod that modifies the vanilla bounty quests (like increasing or decreasing the value of the reward), this mod is probably not compatible. Let my mod sit lower than the other mod in your load order or consider uninstalling the other mod. My mod already offers configurable bounty rewards via the MCM of missives.

not really sure, never really thought about it. try it out and see whats happens is my best guess. you also have to consider Bounty Gold SSE - Settings Loader too if you have that installed not sure how it detects bounty gold.
Thank you very much, this mod has been an essential part of my load-order for the past year, and I would very much like to keep it forever. I should be able to double-check compatibility with the AE sometime within the next few days, once I start playing Skyrim again.

Works with all base game bounty quests besides companions but doesn't work with bounty quests added by mods that are the exact same, like the one that lets you get bounty quests from merchants. I believe it is called More to Say. Would a patch for these mods be possible?
i recommend this Sidequests of Skyrim dose the same thing when it comes to quests from npc and it works with Bounty Gold https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/54245
as for patching anyone is free to make patches for this, i would but i wouldn't know were to start especially the scripts.

the mod should just work with out problems
it's so simple that if your game crashes then i feel sorry for you
also i purity much got tired of no one porting this.

Every mod that change QF_BQxx_xxxx scripts are incompatible AND any mod that change the bounty quests BQ01, BQ02, BQ03 and BQ04 are incompatible too.
So, for example, the mod Even Better Quest Objectives SE - EBQO SE is INCOMPATIBLE and need a patch to work with "Bounty Gold".
