\ It took me 6 months of playing with this mod to try installing manually and I can't get it to look like these pictures. Even 4k makes it still look horrible. I really wish I could find the mod in those pictures because this is nuts. I've reinstalled this mod over and over and over. I don't understand why it looks like less than 1k textures in bodyslide and in-game.

By the way, I came here before and my stupid *** forgot to thank you for this awesome mod. You are an artist, and you deserve appreciation, even if, no matter what, I and everyone I know who has tried it have never gotten this mod to work like in the pictures. Well done. to everyone involved.

Do you expect reinstalling is going to give a different result? If you don't like it then move on.

Well alrighty then. So that's just the way the cookie crumbles then is what you're saying. Lol. That's fair. I mean, I can't bear to be without your other HD remakes so how can I complain that this own just has pictures for some other mod?

      You're awesome! Thank you.

Sigh. There are no pictures of other mods. There are obvious renders of the assets in not-skyrim and then there are obvious ingame screenshots of the final in-skyrim product that you get. I do not think I have to tell anyone the difference between the two, or do I?. Logically what you get will be closer to the ingame images, why on earth would I spend time taking screenshots in the game if not to inform the users how the f*#@ it looks?

Naturally, that's still going to be affected by my ENB, saturation, etc. To take that into account the user can see the user screenshots, i.e. how it looks with other ENBs people may have. If it looks significantly different in your game to the, let's say, average look of my in-game screenshots and the users' in-game screenshots then you've likely failed to install it properly. Otherwise what you have in the game is exactly what you should have expected by the in-game screeshots available in the mod page and downloading multiple times in an attempt to find something else, still not sure what, is not going to lead you anywhere.

Anytime in the future, would you ever consider creating an additional version that does not have as much worn leather look, one that looks a little bit newer and fresh? Im not at all saying that this mod is bad and that you did it wrong, because you did a great job with this and I love it, however, I think it would look nice as well with less visible leather. Thank you so much!

Does this fix the fingerless gloves bug on beast races? (IE, removing their claws)

Yeah, it should work for beast races as well. There's no specific argonian model but there isn't in vanilla either so it's likely just pointing to the same model.

Hi. I'm not sure if his is the right place to do this. If it is, I apologize. Can you create a second option for those who favor the "forged midnight" look?

This look is sexy, and I love it. Mad props.

I'm roleplaying this time though, and I would LOVE to have a set that's a darker version of the original. Like, you know how the ebony mail will shroud you in more blackness when wearing a full set? Like that. Dark, but with maybe reflections of the original colors on some of the areas like the crest and bands when it hits the light a certain way, and making the glowing eyes pop a bit.

I'd love to see my character's vampire eyes glow through.

    Equally sexy.

Is it too late to learn how to mod? lol

I'd encourage anyone to learn some aspect of mod/game development, I think it's really fun and rewarding activity.

It's not that I dislike the idea of leaning more into the "forged midnight" phrase, not at all, even if the association of "forged" with what looks like some fabric or leather in terms of construction and material sounds a bit odd to me. Part of the reason why I added the ebony scales. Alternative versions or just redoing a mod is always a possibility, I've done it in the past, particulary where the are some things I was not fully happy with, and there are a couple here I would do differently. But, In any case, it's definitely not a priority.

Okay, Further post. If you are using CBBE and want to have no cloak
    1) you need to install the CBBE patch.
    2) Next install and run CBBE Bodyslide.
    3) Navigate too CBBE Vanilla - Body - Nightingale
    4) Tick the box at the top for "remove cloak"
    5) press build (you can also press preview to make sure its working)

I have also found that the fingerless glove option doesn't work with Vortex. So after doing everything else, manually download the mod and manually install the fingerless glove option only following the instructions provided within the mod. I'll assume this fix will also work for the less saturated option as a few people have had issue with that I think

    I hope this helps people!

    P.S Awesome mod!

thanks for awesome mod. armor and weapons look really cool. Bow was awesome but i had to delete bow nifs because i am using scoped bows mod and can't hit correctly with texture mod. if anyone wonders, just delete bow nifs and it will still keep armor and sword textures.

Okay, I was having some issues with this mod not working. As it turns out, Vortex was the cause and after rebooting the app and manually deploying the mods, it worked. Just wanted to post this here in case anyone else was experiencing some problems
