Does anyone know how to force these textures to be used when also using Strange Runes?
For me, even with Holy Wards loading afterwards in MO2, I still see the visuals for Strange Runes on wards.

Hi, is this a standalone retexture for only my character or is this for every npc.

      I'm assuming it's for everyone.

Yeah, if this could be somehow customized for maybe only the player to use it would make more sense, or have two sets of wards somehow - one used by mages / necromancers, and one used by holy factions.

I want to use this, but I also would feel weird battling necromancers who can also create shields of what looks like holy light.

Absolutely love this mod, thank you! Why they aren't this colour in vanilla Skyrim, I'll never know.. I have a request, if possible, would you be able to add this kind of holiness to conjured weapons and the shield? I just really want conjured weapons and a shield made out of pure holy magic.

Greetings, I really like this mod, however being in VR, I'd like to tweak a few things to my needs, would you be willing to lend me a hand? I'd like to make three main changes:
Make entire spell more opaque/yellow - this is to match the visuals of other restoration spells, in VR outside, both the in-hand and shield effects are barely noticeable
Make hand effect slightly smaller (tends to clip through my fingers) and possibly more 3D looking, like Healing spells?
Hand effect still emits the old blue light onto your hand instead of the beige/yellow

i've enjoyed this mod for a while but I decided i wanted to try a different ward mod that changes the looks aswell, But disabling and even uninstalling this mod doesn't return my game to the vanilla wards for some reason. I don't know if your still active on here but if you are could you please put uninstalling notes out

There are no missing instructions. You install and uninstall with a mod manager. If your mod manager is bugged, you can locate the mod's files and delete them manually.

You could try compressing the .dds file with CAO (Cathedral Assets Optimizer). You should be doing that on your larger mesh/texture mods anyway.

I saw no difference using this mod. The .nif files don't use the included custom .dds files, they just point to the vaportile, torchember, fxglowwhite, and fxglowspotlinearalpha textures. I saw no reference to the included textures. What am I missing?

EDIT: AH, finally found a reference to the HOLY texture at the bottom of the Nifskope window under the value Grayscale Texture. Still no difference for me in game though. At least it doesn't look any difference from vanilla because both are blue and look the same.

I was finally able to FIX the problem by changing one incorrect path in the wardbodyfx.nif mesh using Nifskope. In this location:

      0 BSFadeNode --> 454 NiNode --> 455 NiParticleSystem --> 67 NiPSysModifierActiveCtlr --> 457 BSEffectShaderProperty

Click on that, then in the properties window change the Greyscale Texture from this:

      textures\effects\gradients\GradWardColor.dds

      To this:

      textures\effects\gradients\HOLYgradwardcolor.dds

My hunch is this latest version of the mod never worked for other people too?

Something is overwriting or ignoring files you have from this mod. 41 000+ people have downloaded the latest version of it. Since 2018.. So no, it definitely has worked just fine for people. I tested it again just now, and it works just fine. The problem is at your end. You might have another mod changing the model of the wards into a different model in its ESP, which would make this mod's modified vanilla model useless. If you have ward mods, that would be the first place I would look for that behavior.

I know it's been a while but I finally came back and reinstalled this mod to undo my .nif changes, and it works fine now with no changes. Not sure what happened before, but it's probably something I messed up on my side when I was doing the initial install of all my mods.

Anyway, sorry for false report and thank you. Mod ENDORSED. :)
