Synthesis Redux is an expanding magical spell pack for SSE. Each version release so far has added new spells from the initial release with 1.0 which had 49 spells. Currently in v1.6, there are 177 spells that add numerous unique effects to the game for the aspiring mage. As of v1.6, now requires SKSE.

Installation:
As of v1.6 there is now a BSA file, so all you have to do is toss the ESP & BSA file into your data folder and enable the mod if you install normally, or load up in your Mod Organizer of preference. If you have installed earlier versions of the mod, make sure to remove the loose files in your meshes, textures, and scripts folder as the game likes to default to loose files over a BSA. However moving forward I plan to keep everything as a BSA to make it easier for file management purposes. Thanks for using Synthesis Redux.

How to Obtain the Spells: 
There's a quest that fires once the game boots up which currently adds the spells to leveled lists within the game. Otherwise there is the vendor Omniculis in the Bannered Mare who will sell the spells as well, her wares are randomly populated so you might have to wait for her inventory to reset to get some spells. That said, she's eventually going to be a quest NPC that sends the player on a quest to unlock the spells throughout the worldspace, there's a book and a ring that Omniculis currently sales if you want to check out some of the lore I'm building to blend these spells with Elder Scrolls lore. Additionally, if you're only interested in testing the spells, there is a Debug Ring that Omniculis will sell a note about. The Debugging Ring grants access to all of these spells including the Debug spells (which is the only way to acquire those).

Jukakau's Containment Rune, Aim Loc., Spawns a rune that creates a localized forcefield around an actor when detonated, activate to disable (Not currently working in Version 1.6).
Jukaku's Force Field, Self FF, Spawns a forcefield around the caster and those immediately around them, activate to disable.
Orb of Luminance, Self FF, Creates a near permanent source of light to follow the caster, cast again to dispel the light.

Icarus' Folly - Aim FF, Fires a bolt at an actor that launches them into the sky to see them plummet to their death.
Icarus' Hovering - Self FF, temporarily rise up into the air, float down at end of effect. (Note this is still kinda buggy so I'm working on addressing it).
Mesmerize - Aimed FF, Raise a humanoid target's disposition, and unless its in the neverfollower faction, allow it to be a follower.
Well of Souls - Self FF, Conjure the illusion of a filled black soulgem temporarily, use it while it lasts.

Fool's Gold - Self FF, Conjure the illusion of a pile of gold septims temporarily in your pocket, use it while it lasts.
Gambler's Poison - Self FF, Conjure the illusion of a random poison temporarily, use it to add its additional effects to your weapon strike.
Jwengu's Curse - Aim FF, Magically forces an actor to equip a cursed mask, which slowly drains their vitals, possibly killing them.
Shadow Theft - Aim FF, Magically steal from an actor at range, will cause hostility from the actor pilfered from.
The Egg of Chaos - Aim FF, AoE Fire a condensed ball of magic that explodes causing those affected to become enraged in a frenzy.
Unceasing Darkness - Self FF, Magically blots out the sun for approximately 24 hours with an eclipse.
Vestia's Hearthfire - Self FF, Conjure the illusion of materials used for building a house temporarily, use them while they last.
Zenithar's Bargain - Aim FF, Magically force an actor to trade with you from afar.

Gold Stream - Aim Conc., Channel a stream of gold to launch towards a target. Requires gold to fire, which can be recovered on a targeted actor.
Soul Tether - Aim Conc., Channel an insatiable hunger as the caster telekinetically drags an actor to it, absorbing its lifeforce.

Absorption Cloak, Self FF, AoE Cloaks the caster in a field that absorbs nearby actor's magicka and stamina.
Balcerzak's Cloak - Self FF, a modified Fire Cloak with effect similar to Jzargo's Scrolls, attempts to add in some warmth if using survival mode.
Cold Conduit - Aimed FF, Launch a large ice spike that is electrically charged with small explosion on impact, applies damage over time.
Debilitation Rune - Aim Loc., Spawns a rune that when detonated reduces the target's resistances and armor.
Shadow Cloak, Self FF, AoE The caster enters a realm of shadow, and nearby enemies are attacked by the shadow.
Shadowball Blitz, Aim FF, The caster fires a shadowy spell towards the target which applies a damage over time, but also moves the caster to the target, staggering them as well.
Siphon - Aimed FF, AoE Cast a spell absorbing the health, magicka, stamina of effected actors over time.
Steam Smite - Aimed FF, Cast a gust of heated steam to inflict fire damage, does extra damage to automations.

Freezing Wind - Aimed FF, AoE Cast a gust of freezing wind that leaves those effected encased in ice and suffering from damage over time.
Pyromancer's Dream - Aimed FF, AoE Unleash a wave of fire that explodes on impact, and leaving flames in its wake.
Shadowgem Cannon - Aimed FF, Fire a shadow wrapped black soul gem into a targeted actor, requires an empty black soul gem. Fills soul gem on target death.
Void Star - Aimed FF, AoE Lob a miniaturized star in a jar that explodes for fire damage.

Armageddon - Self Conc. AoE Fire/Frost/Lightning storm based around player, extreme damage.
Rust - Aim FF, Disintegrates the target's armor, leaving them in random clothing and under garments.
Vampiric Academia - Aim FF, Siphon the skill levels of your victim, the effected NPC's skills are reduced in relation to yours being improved, using this effect on higher level npc's is more effective than lower ones. Skills reset back to normal after effect is over.

Shadow Blink - Self FF, Remember a location that the caster is at, to be able to blink through the shadows to or return to where you were.
Shadow Step - Aimed Loc., Step through the shadows to teleport to an aimed location.
Substitute - Self FF, Conjure a random targeting dummy to act as a substitute for you, causing any attackers to become temporarily fooled.

Horrid Reanimation - Aimed FF, Reanimate essentially any target with an intact body.
The Sword of Ragnarok - Self FF, Summon a magical two handed sword that unleashes ranged energy blasts, absorbs stamina, and has a proc to instant kill its target, sheathe to dispel.
Xeroxio's Doppelgangers - Self FF, Divide your magical essence to create three clones who inherit your gear and spell knowledge. The drawback is that your health, magicka, stamina, and skills are shared between all four of you. That said this becomes really powerful towards the end of the game as there's more stats to share.

Healing Cloak - Self FF, Cloak yourself with healing power, so nearby non-hostiles are healed when in range.
Healing Rune - Aim Loc., Spawns a rune that when detonated heals nearby non-hostiles.
Paladin's Prayer - Self FF, Cloak yourself and those around you with divine protection, turning undead as you walk.

Limitless Regeneration - Self FF, Calls for divine energy to grant the caster with limitless regeneration for a period of time.
Moon's Call - Self FF, Assume the cursed form of a werewolf, and summon several ethereal wolves for a period of time. Shapeshift can be extended by feeding.
Night Mother's Embrace - Self FF, Sacrifice the caster's armor, and make them take more damage to temporarily boost their assassination related skills.
Resurrection - Aimed FF, Harnesses the power of a god to resurrect a target who recently died, or if cast on a living target kill them.
Verallia's Phase Shift - Self FF, Embrace the aether, and become ethereal until cast again. Attacking or interacting with world onjects will break the effect.
Wizard's Nexus  - Self FF, Sacrifice the caster's health, to temporarily boost the magnitude and range of spells.

Asmodyia's Blood - Self FF, strong self buff, increases several skills, sates vampire's blood thirst.
Cure Ink - Poison that heals and cures any disease on target
Moon Ink - Poison that turns a humanoid NPC into a frenzying werewolf and then reverts them after a while
Death Oil - Poison to kill a target very slowly
Decrypted Bones - Poison to debuff target, also acts like Dragon Rend on dragons
Frozen Calm - Poison to freeze target solid and calms their aggression
Flaming Frenzy - Poison to ignite a target on fire, and cause them to frenzy
Holy Water - Poison to kill undead (zombies, vampires, skeletons)
Silver Nitrate - Poison to kill wolves and werewolves/werebeasts
Silence - Poison to prevent spell casting
Soul Siphon Ink - Poison to apply a soul trap effect on target
Poison Apple - food, tasty apple, not really poisoned at all, and it's delicious (requires 3rd party mods for NPC's to eat, as base game only has them eating bread animation)

Thanks, and like I said this is definitely a work in progress and a little hobby for me. If you like it cool, if not let me know what you don't like about it as I said a lot of the stuff isn't polished yet and I'm still fine tuning for balance. That all said, even though I owe plenty in student loans, I don't want any donations or payments regarding my work. Additionally, I maintain intellectual property copyrights over the work contained therein any similarities to any work protected by another is unintentional nor malicious in nature, as are any similarities to any past, present, or future people, place, events, or things, or any other pronoun you can think of. If you're a modder and wondering how I did something feel free to ask, I like to learn as much as I can to add additional features and functionality, so I'm always willing to help share my small pool of knowledge, however I do have a life outside of playing video games so it might take me a while to respond, but unless the good lord sees fits to take me, I'll get back to you eventually.

Special thanks go out to the countless modders over the years that have helped me figure out various papyrus issues, the occasional drunken tutorial on nif and dds editing, and a lot of inspiration for attempting to figure out how some of you did some of the great things you've done to this game, and I suppose Bethesda as well, because without Morrowind and the original Construction Kit a lot of us older fossils wouldn't be here.
