What do I need this mod for ? What should I do with 15000+ weapons if I can only use one? The traders have hardly any gold anyway, inventory space is very limited ... so what is this mod for ?
It's nice to have new weapons, but why do I need 150 variants of them? I can enchant myself ...
Yeah this, I don't want morrowloot but do want the variety in weapons this offers...
[Edit: Since I really wanted to add me some spear mechanics+DARs+this armory I actually went out of my way and downloaded MLU, which I proceeded to hack&slash apart in SSEDIT, essentially getting rid of 95% of its changes to existing items/lists/cells etc but keeping all the added stuff that might possibly be referenced by other mods.
I did keep most of its cell/world added "surprise treasures" because its a nice touch. I also forwarded a fair amount of changes from my LO so I can't just link it to you, but if you're fairly comfortable with SSEDIT and modding in general you can do it yourself in under an hour. After that you got the best of both worlds
Altho I didn't see that much refs to MLU from this mod so I'm fairly certain it wouldn't take long to make this armory standalone from mlu]
Using this mod with OMEGA MLU, Immersive Creatures, and OBIS with patches installed, I'm at level 30 and occasionally finding glass weapons (only weapon types added by this mod so far like shortspear and shortsword) in the bandit chest, and creatures specifically added by Immersive Creatures like Elder Giants dropping them also.
Is this intended, or is this mod not compatible with Immersive Creatures and OBIS?
Q1: do I still need Heavy Armory's assets to use this mod? or it is a standalone version? Q2: I'm using Summermyst and downloaded the summermyst version of this mod, Do I still need the summermyst patch provided by MLU? Q3: Legacy of the dragonborn got a patch for Heavy armory, is it compatible with the summermyst version of this mod?
1) This is a standalone mod. 2a) This already includes enchanted versions and is dependent upon Summermyst as a Master. 2b) This needs no patch for MLU or Summermyst at all. It's all baked in already. 3) LOTD Patch is 100% compatible, but I've not checked to see if it overrides anything important myself. Another user told me that it doesn't as it only affects the container size data.
Yeah, so I literally just want the forsworn battleaxe, and I have to download gameplay overhauls? Why?? The legendary edition of this mod isn't like this.
MLU page have their own patch for Heavy Armory, however I should not use that and instead use this mod standalone as it has a patch within itself. I'm I correct in this thinking?
Edit: Found an earlier comment about this below. Don't need the other patch.
Spears and glaives look very strange due to the sword/greatsword class. Putting them in the axe/battle axe class seems like a much more logical choice visually.
Would you be willing to port this over to the XBox One. I love using MLU, Heavy Armory, and Summermyst, but unfortunately there is no patch to make them work together nicely on the console. Hence my request to have your mod ported over. Thanks in advance for any reply.
I'm a little upset that there is no Imperial Halberd, otherwise phenomenal mod! I am also using Vaultman30's armor mod and it is such an amazing sight!
There's already the animated armory mod n a patch for it to work with this one + with the patch the newly added weapon types from this mod can use the 3rd person animation from animated armory, u should try n check it out ;D

I agree it's a bit jarring to often see these 'nearly impossible to find' weapons being sold at every Blacksmith shop or in every Bandit chest! :P
I guess we could always clean this mod to remove the merchant/lootchest edits = it'll only show up on NPCs (or if placed directly by mod).
