Save your game before opening the door to Castle Dawnguard, go to Sorine immediately and ask for a quest, and then reload if you get a Solstheim location. Works in vanilla.
Conflict with mods that changes the quest, okay, but it's mean that is not compatible with Missives or Notice Board.. Could be a great patch, maybe could exists??
"not compatible" is a bit misleading. Nothing about either mod breaks when you use them together. It's just that this mod does not extend its functionality to either of the other mods. I can look into finding time to expand the functionality into them, but as I don't use them myself, it's not a very high priority for me.
I'm following the "A Dragonborn's Fate" guide along with downgrading to Pre-AE Special Edition (1.5.97). Whenever I enable this mod in MO2, it CTD as soon as the Bethesda loading screen pops up. This only happens on the USSEP support version of this mod. Is anyone experiencing this issue?
i had this exact same problem, its because of the version of ussep youre using, you need to use the one made specifically for your skse version, in my case 1.640, here is a link for downloading in case you upgraded, but you should find a 1.5.97 in google easily
Doesn't work, I installed the mod before starting Dawnguard and still I get radiant quests in Bruma and Solstheim...the only thing that works for me is to save the game before starting the quest and reload the game when the quest wasn't in Skyrim
It's not a bug. This mod works fine on its own but will have conflicts with mods that add radiant quest or make changes to the existing radiant quest pool. So, it's most likely Beyond Skyrim Bruma and possibly some other mods that are overwriting this mod and it has to be patched.
It may be because of a conflict, but the side quest with the college of winterhold are still sometime outside. Currently, I have omnund request (at the enthir staff step) and master alteration quest (kavozein fang) in solsteim
I assume it's either a conflict, or the quest was already running by the time you installed the mod (note that some quests are technically active long before they appear in your quest journal).
So I'm stuck with the Gunmar radiant quest bug. I killed one vampire for him, returned to him, asked him what I could do to help, he tells me he found another beat and the dialog just ends without any new quest.
Now I've got this quest objective telling me to speak to him but I can't progress.
I did NOT install the mod mid-playthrough and I do NOT have a save from before I returned the radiant quest to him (or if I do, it's a really older save and I don't wanna lose all my progress).
EDIT : I solved the issue by using the console command setstage DLC1RH03 100

Looking for a mod that makes solstheim quests dissapear if im in skyrim. I only want to see them if im actually in solstheim and I can actually do anything with them but seeing them in skyrim and then not seeing a marker leaves me clueless usually, I waste a lot of time w this
