I'm probably the only person that wanted this "bugged" version to work as it is. I've been trying to manually change the perk conditions for the armor types in xedit but for some reason whenever I change the light and heavy armor conditions to match clothing it doesn't work.
i could see this being very helpful, because it should always only apply to robes for the player to obtain lol, i always got annoyed because then i had to either find a vender who would sell hoods or gloves and boots that were clothing, and the only city in skyrim that has these things is freaking solitude!
or i would just use additem menu because of how inconvenient it was, but with this mod you are no longer required to look for all these other clothing just to apply this freaking perk.
Great mod! Only thing is, you forgot to add the "wearing clothes" requirement to the "flesh" spells. As it stands those spells, with this mod, give the same amount of additional armor protection to both warriors wearing cuirasses and mages not wearing them.
I have uploaded a fix for this mod at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38356. The fix makes it so that you only recieve the perks and bonuses stated by this mod if you are not wearing heavy/light chest armor. Should work correctly now.
I'm getting the benefit of the perks no matter what I wear. Any idea what could be causing this? Only other mods that are touching the perks are Cutting Room Floor and Ordinator
It seems the author forgot to reapply the edited condition, which checks if you're wearing clothes, in the CK. As it currently stands, there are only two conditions connected to those perks: Rank requirement = XX and [Previous Perk] = 1.0. ---- EDIT ---- I've been wrong. Again. As is currently stands there are six conditions connected to the "Robes of the Magi"-Perk: 1. WornHasKeyword: 1.1 Keyword: 'ArmorLight" >= 0.00 1.2 Keyword: 'ArmorHeavy" >= 0.00 1.3 Keyword: 'ClothingBody" == 1.00 ---- These keywords are applied to every clothing/armor item out there on the nexus (At least most of them). This condition checks if the case is 0 or higher for armors. 0.00 = NO / 1.00 = YES. The ClothingBody - Keyword should be applied to only torsowear. But many jewelry-mods tend to give this keyword to necklaces and sometimes rings. Mind you, there are some LL-Mods out there which give you an invisible tunic into the inventory filled with a few dozen keywords to allow for situationchecks. Most notably SL. The other three conditionchecks ask for the previous perk.
Answer to your problem: You're most likely wearing another item which owns the 'ClothingBody' - Keyword.
Thanks for the detailed explanation, I'm an oldrim user, so if I'm going to DIY and make the edit in CK, should I remove the condition Keyword: 'ArmorLight" >= 0.00 and Keyword: 'ArmorHeavy" >= 0.00 And keep the Keyword: 'ClothingBody" == 1.00 so that the perk would work as long as I'm wearing clothing on my body?

Either way, great mod!
