This has been reported to the cartographer at the Imperial Library, but you are surely aware of how those imperial officials tend themselves, always quick to dismiss any criticism of their work. After a long and tiresome letter exchange, he conceded that one of his assistants might have occasioned a small 'slip of the quill,' but also insisted that he would need to make the journey up to the college himself, as none of his assistants (the existence of which made sprout seeds of doubt in both the Arch-Mage and myself) were remotely qualified. This would, of course, not be possible until his period of respite, which by all accounts was a few decades off.

Looking at UCoW's files it seems that they don't replace the texture of this map, so in theory everything should work just fine, but you're better off checking it out yourself.
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. Would you mind if I used your screenshots as the mod pictures? I haven't had a chance to play Skyrim in a while so I've been unable to take new ones myself and would greatly appreciate the help.
So it's more likely to you that the Imperial Library/College of Winterhold has a laser-printer with modern paper and topological information than that they made a mistake in transcript?
I've used your corrected one and converted it to dds as well as amending the date to 4E200. Just overwrite the skyrim.dds in the "textures\cwi" folder with this one:
This is one of those little details that makes a huge improvement. The map looks great on its own, and replacing that ICOW map made it much more of an "immersive" college. This map is almost like its own little tribute to the whole Elder Scrolls setting, especially if you have been playing Elder Scrolls Online or other games. "Hey, I've been there!"
I don't mind the misspelling of "Redguards." It's exactly the kind of careless mistake the oblivious Mede dynasty and its pretender to the throne would make about anyone who isn't within arm's reach of the Imperial City.
In fact, rather than asking for this spelling error to be corrected, I would like an addition to the Dark Brotherhood dialogue where you tell Titus Mede, "And your cartographers can't even spell Redguard right! Die, tyrant!"

Please, consider duplicating this mod for Oldrim to get more views.
I just tested it already and it works just fine on Oldrim:
original

Thanks for the mod, I, too, instantly thought "was it printed?" when I saw that map.
