Love this, except that it seems to have caused Jordis to appear and address me as Thane before I did any of the Solitude quests. My poor Dragonborn was quite confused.
Well now I guess this mod is no longer being supported by the author as it's not been converted to form 44 for use with SE it was just uploaded from LE

Housecarls Have Lives version 1.1 - Needs a fix update.
CK is Creation Kit.I've never ported a mod myself, but one step (apparently sometimes the only necessary step depending on the mod, other times there is a lot more to do), is to load and then save the mod in the SE Creation Kit, which will change the form ID from 43 (for LE) to 44 (for SE). I've heard a lot of different opinions about how important it is to do this. Usually mods will work without this change (if they don't its because some other change needs to be made to that particular mod), but apparenly not making the change in the form ID can sometimes contribute to instability.
Any chance you will do the housecarls for Hearthfire homes? Mine always just sandbox outside and check out the property. But they don't really eat or sleep. Pretty boring.
Hmm, that sounds like a conflict somewhere. In the un-modded playthrough on the Xbox LE I did a long time ago, my Hearthfire Housecarls would always wander around inside, sit and eat, sleep. I know it's not the PC version, but I'm almost certain they sandbox properly in the standard game.

This plugin needs to be opened in the new CK and re-saved. That's all. That will correct it to be a proper SE plugin.
