If you like this mod, don't forget to support it!

As its name would indicate, Arrow Recovery System Overhaul (A.R.S.O) completely revamps the way you retrieve arrows and bolts.

When hitting a target, arrows do not randomly disappear off the corpse but rather have a chance of breaking.
When missing a target, loose arrows also have a chance of being broken once you retrieve them.

The chances of an arrow breaking (whether they hit or miss) are not calculated by one simple value.
Instead, the resistance of each arrow type is automatically calculated and is totally configurable via the mod menu (for each type of arrow).

Once you retrieve a broken arrow, you have 2 options:
- Chop wood so as to re-craft the arrow with the pieces you have picked up.
- Resell the broken pieces for half the price of the original, intact, arrow.

If your budget is tight or you wish to forge your own arrows, know that the merchants can sell you pieces of each type of arrow.
This brings you the satisfaction of having crafted your own arrows as well as leveling up your smithing skill.
Be warned however, certain arrows cannot be repaired if you do not have the smithing perk to go with it. (i.e Dwarven Arrow : Dwarven Smithing)

In addition to this, an automatic retrieval system for arrows in your proximity has been implemented:
Once you retrieve an arrow (whatever it may be), you will automatically retrieve all the other arrows in a radius which you can configure.
You may choose to retrieve all types of arrows, or only the ones matching the first one you manually retrieved.
It is also possible to include NPC corpses in the radius search.

Every arrow from the base game, DLCs, and even mods (of all types) are recognized by the mod and are completely customizable.

So as to simply configure the mod, it is heavily recommended (though not required) to use SkyUI so as to have access to the MCM.
If you don't have SkyUI, a classic menu containing the same options, minus arrow customization, is available via the "powers" menu.

Installing Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE64) version 2.0.7 or above is NECESSARY for this mod.

This mod modifies NOTHING about the vanilla arrows and is thus compatible with EVERY other mod.

Question: It says to install Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE64), how do I do that?
Answer: You may download SKSE64 here, here is also a video explaining how to install it.

Question: Does this mod work with SkyUI? If so, is it mandatory?
Answer: The mod is compatible, however it is not mandatory.

Question: Will this work in conjunction with the [xxx] mod?
Answer: This mod has been designed so as to not change anything to the vanilla game.
Therefore, there is no risk of conflict with another mods.

Question: Is this mod compatible with mods adding/modifying arrows & bolts?
Answer: As said above, A.R.S.O does not modify or add arrows and is thus compatible with every other mod.

Question: All of the arrows in my game aren't available in the mod parameters, what should I do?
Answer: You must equip or have in your inventory each type of non-vanilla arrow at least once for it to be recognized by A.R.S.O.

Question: Proximity arrow retrieval takes a long time, what should I do?
Answer: If you have checked the option "Retrieve arrows off corpses", try unchecking it.

Question: The arrows of a mod that I wish to uninstall are now part of the A.R.S.O parameters, will this cause a problem with my game?
Answer: A.R.S.O automatically updates its parameters if it notices a change in mod files, no problems should be had.

Question: I wish to uninstall A.R.S.O, will this create errors in my save file?
Answer: You may uninstall A.R.S.O without fear of damaging your save file.

Question: What about the load order?
Answer: You can put A.R.S.O where you want in your list, it does not matter at all.
