Be sure to run your SkyProc Patcher to use PerMa effectively. You can find it at: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SkyProc Patchers\T3nd0_Patchus_Maximus\PatchusMaximus.jarRun that ".jar" file
If you get an error incorrectly saying a mod requires a master which is installed but not enabled, disable the PLUGIN (not the whole mod if you use Vortex) that is causing the error. Rinse and repeat until the patcher finally stops throwing a fit. It will work. I've done it dozens of times.
If the mod is something you want to make sure is included in the patcher's process, make sure it's not marked as "Light", and try again. If it's already "Non-Light", then make a dummy Master with WryeBash or whatever tool of your choice to "trick" the patcher into not throwing the error.
Also, DO NOT CLOSE THE PACTHER YOURSELF! Even if the bar is full and the text says 100%, it is still doing something. When it's done, the window will close on its own.
If the patcher crashes and/or does not complete the patch after an extremely long time (~5 minutes+, use your best judgement based on how many mods you have), then use the "Debug - moreHeapspace -32bitandMO.bat" file to run the patcher. It will allow the patcher to use more RAM and can process larger amounts of data more effectively. (I haven't managed to get the 64bit version to work, but if you get it to work, more power to you. Both are valid options.)
To enable Wayfarer EXP gain and ensure all parts of Perkus Maximus are active, type the following in order in the console commands (press the "~" key to open):
help xmais set xMaIsPerMaThiefRunning to 1 set xMaIsPerMaWarriorRunning to 1 set xMaIsPerMaMageRunning to 1 This will ensure every aspect of Perkus Maximus is activated and you will gain Wayfarer experience as you travel throughout skyrim. Make sure you type "help xmais" first just in case I accidentally mistyped or mislabelled one of those lines and you type the name correctly.
