Thank you so much for your comments, really appreciate it! <3

Pls give me your thoughts on this version.

Your Feedback helps me to make this ENB better and better! :

    <3 <3 <3

    troubleshooting:
If you can't open the zip -- pls use the latest win rar.
NAT version skin looks weird -- disable NAT SSS

    version 2.5:
boost the performance significantly, so performance version is not needed anymore
new dof and different dof versions^

if the skin is to dark, toggle the enbprepass off

    Modlist is now here:

the color palette on these presets is simply the best out of all ENB's out there.
i wanted to switch from rudy for obsidian to something else and apex really knocks it out of the park.

BUT, this is NOT performance friendly, not at all :D the water alone rocks 40 fps... running on a i7 10700, rtx 3070, 32gb ram. sure my fps are good but i feel that this enb is heavy. also, where are the different versions? no performance, no nothing, only one. and nights are awful - way too dark and what is wrong with the bloom and lens flare? :D u playing with sunglasses on? i turned those down, but night itself is still... ugly. idk how to change the black levels to make it look better.

No. Just the one you want to use (which matches your weather mod).

Using this with Obsidian Weather the grass just outside of Whiterun is all very dark, almost black. Not sure why. Anyone else see this?

Definitely way more than just a few fps usage.  Goes from 90-100 fps down to 50-60fps when just standing still and not doing any combat or looking at any npc's.

For people having problem with screen going too dark when using spells or looking at light sources. Open in-game ENB settings, scroll to ADAPTATION under enbseries.ini window and set AdaptationSensitivity to 0.00
    Spoiler:
    Show

Fantastic ENB, it stays faithfully to the vanilla colour scheme but now I can really see the details in my textures. Objects look more 3-D now. Previously they were pretty but sometimes a bit flat.

I haven't been using ENB's for about a year because of the hit on FPS and all the weird glitches some of them have but I thought I'd give this one a try because it's performance friendly. I was surprised to find that my FPS actually stayed the same and my game became more stable with almost completely eliminated stuttering. I believe that my original setup was sub optimal in it's handling of lighting, memory and the settings of this ENB switches off, fixes or replaces the the things that were causing me trouble.

I get a steady 58-60 FPS. No more flickering lights, better shadows, better sense of depth.

Other users may not experience the same results because I've used other ENB's in the past, and I think I've used this one unsuccessfully a few years ago, and had huge hits on performance and had a lot of problems making them look good but I feel I've got really lucky with this ENB. It seems great for my hardware and mod set up.

Download my preset and paste all the contents into your Skyrim directory and overwrite

Well, I did exactly that, and nothing worked. Serves me right for following instructions.

The problem was that pasting all the contents of the downloaded zip file into my Skyrim directory means that a new folder named "Apex_Vivid_3.0" went into my main Skyrim Special Edition directory, with the enbseries and optional dof folders plus enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini inside of it. Normally, I think the game expects the enbseries folder, enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini to all be in the game folder itself, not buried inside a folder named Apex_Vivid_3.0.

It might save everybody a bit of angst if you would either clarify your instructions to specify "the contents of the Apex_Vivid_3.0 folder" or repack your zip file to eliminate the Apex_Vivid_3.0 folder altogether. On the other hand, if you really intend for all of the enb files that normally go into the game folder to be one level down in a new Apex_Vivid_3.0 folder, my bad and your instructions are perfect just as they are.

Which would leave me wondering why nothing worked...

And PS: I d/l 3 times because all of your downloaded files for any weather system are named "Apex ENB for Vanilla - Obsidian - NAT - Vivid - Aequinoctium - Rustic - CoT - Dolomite - Northern saga - Mythical Ages - Solstitium - weather - ELFX - Modlist" and so I kept re-downloading, wondering why I kept getting the Vanilla file when I clicked on Vivid...

So after repackaging (and renaming) the downloaded file to eliminate the Apex_Vivid_3.o folder, I imported it into Vortex, changed the file type to ENB so Vortex would correctly drop it into the game folder and not Data, and rocked on. Works great. Thanks.

Do I need to download Vivid Weathers with the ENB? Or is it already implemented?

Great job ! The best ENB for me and my monitor...

BUT i'm getting 30-32 fps (55-60 fps without ENB).

gpu : 99% (I think it's normal. same result without ENB).
    vram : 5700 Gb
    ram : 8400 Gb
    AND...
    cpu : 20 % !

    ( MSI Gamer B450 - Ryzen 5 2600x - GTX 1060 6Gb - 16 Gb RAM - SSD M2 PCIe - 1980x1200)

When i disable prepass, i have 35-37 fps..

    I'm lost...

Same huge FPS drop from 40-60 to 15-25 on GTX1080 in 4K. Obsidian + True Storms + ELE + ELFX. And default sharpening is way too crazy for me. Does anyone like it this way?
Also, what graphical settings I should be using?

Same here although I get big fps drops in most ENBs despite having an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, A 3070 8GB and 3Gigs of RAM.

      Hi,

I have the same issue. Had a rather old pc which managed to get 34fps with ENB.

A week or 2 ago I upgraded my system by a lot, did a clean format, reinstalled Skyrim, same modlist, though different ENB; yours. I absolutely love your visual and stylized approach. However, my FPS was at roughly 29.

I must admit, I haven't tried and other ENBs yet, but removing ENB alltogether boosted my fps to 60. Installed Reshade, went with some of the usual heavy-hitters in regards to fps, but still a solid 60fps.

Could it be an issue with enbdev itself perhaps and not so much your specific ENB?

maybe try changing resolution? I get 45 in some areas but that's the lowest with RTX 3060
