This mod will not work in Skyrim 32bits. I am not interested in any kind of ports, including LE, beth.net and consoles.
Also getting this issue. Also only in Whiterun from what I can tell. Its the ones called "RockPileMO2FieldGrass01, 02 and 03" I think. Did you manage to fix it?
it seems to be the problem with S3DRockPileM02.nif and S3DRockPileS01.nif files, could be other 1-2 S stones, I dont know why, but it seems to be the only nif that have problem in the s3drocks here.
Edit: believe it or not, if you change the name of the nif file and re-point the rock object to this renamed nif inside CK, it's now working, but with the same old name it won't work no matter how you tries, funny and frustrating.
so the only workaround I can find right now is to change the following(might be more) nif file and re-point it manually in CK. * extract themt from bsa file first tho.
then go into CK and load up the s3drock esp then find the "RockpileS01" "RockpileM01", etc that have the same name as your changed nif file without S3D or those purple in-game earlier and change the old nif to new nif file.
that should do the trick, quite labor but that's the only workaround right now for me.

it seems I've found the real issue causing this, since even remove this mod didn't solve the problem, in my case I have an outdated(1.1) version of Terrain Parallax Blending Fix, after upgraded it to latest, the problem solved.

Thanks a lot, that was a good tip. I didn't realise that Terrain Parallax Blending Fix has a patch for Skyrim 3D Rocks. Now Whiterun is beautiful again <3.

Thanks. I'm getting a really weird texture issue, the rock piles are half purple. I'm rebuilding my playthrough and have never seen this before with this mod. I tried the current files and the copy I had with my previous build, both have the same issue. Seems like I'm missing a texture, but I would've thought the whole rock would be purple not half the rock?? Either way, if someone could post the texture file I need somewhere that would be great. Thanks.
I also appear to have a purple rocks. Nothing in my mod list directly overwrites this mod. I reinstalled it just in case but no luck.
Weird thing is that it began showing up purple mid-game, which might mean it's an issue of mod compatibility, rather than just a simple missing texture. Probably something to do with Seasons of Skyrim. Please let me know if you figure it out.
EDIT: Upon further inspection I confirm that the issue on my end is unrelated to this mod.
It took me way too long to realize that apparently this mod doesnt replace rocks in the game, but adds new ones? I saw some floating in the giants camp next to Whiterun. I think another mod made the ground there a bit lower and I saw the rocks from this mod floating. I really wanted it to be just a replacer for vanilla rocks.
Guys, I need help/advice! How to fix this bug with shiny textures? This bug only affects rocks that use shore textures. I thought it was somehow related to some incompatibility in meshes when porting the mod (I use the LE version as the main game) But when I checked the mod on SE, there was the same texture bug. Any ideas on how to fix it?

For example, I had a problem with the landscape in the Atlantean Landscape plugin for ESP. It was originally located at the top of the ESP plugin list, and it was causing problems. I moved it to the bottom of the list and the problems disappeared.
I have already tried changing the priority in the plugin launch. I lowered S3DRocks.esp almost to the very bottom of the list. Now I checked again. The result is still the same! I don't have esp for Landscape. I only use texture combinations from different mods. ... It's all very strange that the problem is exclusively in those stones that interact with shore textures (coastbeach01) I don't use no parallax or any unique meshes for shore textures. Just texture.
I first want to say, this is an amazing mod, I've always used it, since it came out. In that time, I've used a lot of lanscape mods with it, never seen any issues.
But with the recent release of Atlantean Landscape, I started using it when it came out. wizkid34 mentions this in regards to 3D Rocks;
You can use Skyrim 3D Rocks but obviously you won't have perfect collisions nor will the textures be suitable for mine, just as they wouldn't be suitable for any other replacer
If you are still around, it would be greatly appreciated if you could please make a compatibilty patch for Atlantean Landscape. I noticed not all of the Skyrim 3D rocks appear when using Atlantean, and I'd rather have all of the Skyrim 3D rocks instead.
