Cell respawn interval configurations added. In case you want to synchronize respawn intervals to your liking of timescale value I added a helpful information line that calculates corresponding timescale value. I also added an image to show what is new in version 1.1
Is it possible to set a custom location, if not through the MCM (unless I missed something), maybe through a patch? Or even hacking the script? I have a little home that exists in the exterior worldspace, not in a city, and the location isn't marked as a home or dwelling, so it's being picked up as wilderness. I tried updating it both via creating a patch for the location record to add the keywords and by editing the house mod itself to set the right keywords, but it's not picking it up. (And this is on an existing save. I don't want to reload the house mod completely and lose all of my customizations.)
Aside from having to manually set the timescale back to my default every time I go home, I absolutely love this mod! Thanks!
I was hoping for the same - I use the Whiterun Safehold house mod, and the interior uses the wilderness timescale. I'd hope it's as simple as changing a keyword - or maybe the music category? - but I'm mostly familiar with item-related records, not cells and worldspaces (for this is the cost of modding in xEdit).
And now Dynamic Timescale has been ported to SSE, but it seems like Master of Time already does what Dynamic Timescale does. I'm using Master of Time, but I'm unsure why one might choose one over the other now that both exist. Master of Time was here first on SSE, but I guess Dynamic Timescale was here before that for Oldrim.
Dynamic Timescale is less configurable overall for specific locations, but it has a "combat" timescale, while MoT doesn't. Up to you if that's valuable or not, but the feature overlap is not 100%.
I too used Oldrim's Dynamic Time Scale mod and really enjoyed it. This looks very promising; however, I was wondering if you'd be willing to extend the timescale options to go beyond 20? For instance, I like my outdoor travel to be 1 minute = 1 game hour, so that it feels like it takes a few days to travel the continent. Is that something you'd be willing to expand upon? Thanks for your work!
Got a question for you concerning the notifications. I can't actually get them to turn off for some reason, and seeing that constantly when I would rather have an unobstructed view is a bit distracting, unfortunately. I switched between all modes and the toggle stubbornly stays on whether I click with the mouse, press E, or press Enter. Other than that, though, so far I'm loving this.
Thanks for the work! -Matthios
NOTES: If you need any other information, just let me know. =-)
Hi. I just checked the code and it's actually my fault. I will publish the fix soon. Also a quick fix is while "Show Notifications" is selected or mouse over hit the default value button ("R" by default) I hope it helps :)
