From your description: "NPCs are also more clever and will know for example if they talked to a npc and will therefore talk to another or not talk at all. After some time, they talk again with each others."

Which variables would I edit (in SSE Edit) if I wanted to reduce the delay before NPCs talk to one another again? In other words, if I wanted employees to repeat conversations I may have already heard more often, would I edit "fAItalktoNPCtimer"? If so, I assume lower values reduce the length of time before conversations repeat correct? (It is unfortunately not described on the settings page of the Creation Kit wiki).

Assuming that variable fAItalktoNPCtimer governs If I wanted to eliminate NPCs learning that they already have spoken so that they continually talk to one another, would I just delete that variable altogether?

So, why do I ask? Whiterun's market has turned into an awkward ghost town where everyone is giving each other the silent treatment. To put it in perspective, I have an unmodded version of SSE I boot up sometimes, and Vanilla Whiterun market is much, much more talkative than Realistic Conversations, with, presumably, every NPC tired of talking to each other.

If it's better to make the edits to the .ESP in CK than in SSE Edit, I'll do it that way instead.

same here. seems for me anyway, this mod does the opposite of what it should. been using it for couple real days and very seldom hear anyone talk anymore. i've tried it on new game too. anyone have any advice?
i'm mostly interested in this for more expressive convos. do the npcs show more expression?

So, I'm in a strange situation with this mod. I believe that it may be causing a crash when I start a new game (Specifically when I get out of the cart, and potentially at points afterwards) due the fact that it only happens with this mod running. While this mod might not actually be the cause of it, when I disable or uninstall the mod the game crashes directly during the loading screen of starting a new game, despite the fact that I have no mods dependent on this one.

Even if I reinstall the entire game with every mod disabled, I cannot run my game without your mod installed and activated. Any clue what I could do?

Sounds like you have a corrupted save caused by other mods. Try starting a new game with my mod only and see if it crashes. if it doesn't then it was something else causing it.

So, I disabled all esps/esms other than the DLCs and your mod. Oddly enough, that also disabled all of my retexture mods somehow.

I was able to get as far as walking off of the cart, but the game crashed the instant I pressed the esc key.

Seems like you use vortex to disable them right?
Disable the esps, esms with another plugin manager.
      Also rename meshes folder.

I've actually been using NMM with the latest community update.
Also, if I rename the meshes folder, wouldn't it break the game?

no all vanilla meshes files is in the meshes.bsa file. So you can rename it so long as you disable all esps/esms except the vanilla ones.

So, renaming the mesh folder didn't help any, still couldn't run the game without your mod. However, I did notice that there was a save left from when the game crashed shortly after getting off the cart with only your mod. If i load that save, I can get through character creations just fine. However, regardless of whether I only have just your mod, no mods, or all of my mods or the meshes folder having been renamed, the game crashes a few seconds into kneeling at the chopping block.

Alright, edit halfway through typing this since I was testing and typing at the same time, I had the wild idea to run the game on vanilla (as opposed to with SKSE64), and it worked. I got all the way inside the fort, but it crashed when I hit escape. After this, I noticed that I had a save from when I entered in, loaded it with SKSE64 and all of mods active, and for now everything seems to be fine. No idea what exactly is going on to determine whether or not what crashed or whether its going to continue to be fine, but I'll go for as long as I can with my load order, which has your mod in it.

Thanks for the help, hopefully I won't have to light up this thread again.

I've experimented with this squished into an ESL with CC. This mod seems so near qualifying, what's keeping it from being made into an ESPFE? (I mean that as a technical question, NOT a, "Why don't you do it yesterday, darnit.")

    Helloo.
Does this fix the infuriating repetition of sentences from followers?
I am really going mad from hearing the former devotee of Vaermina (forgot his name lol) telling me "I never told this to anyone before.. but I've killed more people then I'd like to admit. Let's leave it at that"... YOU TOLD ME THAT 50 times so far, you keep repeating it every 4 or 5 minutes!!!!!!! xD ffs
Can't stand it... gonna have to dismiss him soon :/

Also I think that the classification of files in the download section isn't quite correct. As the "main" and "optional" labels aren't what you'd expect. Vortex mod downloader/manager tells me that the Realistic Conversations and Realistic Conversations - longer pause between sentences are redundant to one another. Meaning that you don't need both of them, you only need 1 since they overlap 100%.
The "optional" file is actually stand-alone and doesn't require the one marked as "Main", they're both equal priority. So we should have either one or the other active.
      Is this not correct?

I was wondering the same thing. I checked in SSEdit, and everything seemed to check out. The mods cover different things, this one covers how NPC interact with you and each other, whereas reputation will make NPCs acknowledge your characters moral and change their dispositions.

Hey, this might be a personal problem, but I at least want to report it just in casey. Downloading and installing your mod causes my Skyrim to infinitely load into the main menu. The precise moment is after the game opens, but before the [New Game] etc. options appear. After reading the description of your mod, I am forced to believe that I have somehow wrought this misfortune upon myself, but if you were to have any clue as to why this had happened, I would be very grateful.

Also, the file which I had downloaded and installed was the third optional file.

(keep in mind, I did not install the main file. I do not know if this was the reason)

Having issues with certain NPC's talking too fast. Namely Irrileth who was giving her speech to the 4 guards and her next sentence was clipping over her previous sentence. I'll be doing more testing to find out more.

Same here. Doing a new playthrough and have noticed sentence clipping or almost no pause between sentences with several NPCs. SSEEdit isn't showing any conflicts with my load order running over 100 mods. I also noticed that some of this mods functions aren't working for my game either, i.e. the NPCs don't talk more to one another and I still get yelled at for bumping into clutter or purposely moving it.

Try the Longer Pauses version. I swear that should be the default download option cause of how unbearable the clipping in the original version is. I just wish someone would convert the longer pauses version over to the PS4.

im not a expert on modding @Katarsi but im pretty sure if you let expressive facial animation load after this mod and overwrite this mod that you will be fine if using nmm or vortex or mo. Hopefully others with more experience can chime in though
