Please read the description page and the following F.A.Q. before posting issues. Thanks!

Q: I have missing walls, inaccessible sections of the house, furniture protruding from walls, missing workbenches or furniture, etc. What did I do wrong?
    A:
a)You haven’t built the required wings. One more time: East Wing – Kitchen, North Wing – Alchemy, West Wing – Bedroom.
b)You have another mod editing Lakeview. Check with SSEEdit or disable HF related mods till you find which one is responsible.
c)There’s a small chance you’ve used another Lakeview remodel which changed the building script or vanilla scripted furniture. Those changes stick with your game even after the mod was uninstalled. The only “cure” I know of is to reset Hearthfire DLC (make a save free of HF and then reinstall it). Do this at your own risk!!! It could break HF quests or HF dependent mods.

Q: I have no mods altering adoption, my family won’t move to Lakeview.
A: Make sure you’ve built the required bedroom furniture after installing LKVM. Not before.

Q: Will you make this compatible with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions?
A: You don't need HMA for this house. If you use it, place it before LKVM in your load order.
There’s not enough space to add more children beds, and, as far I’m concerned, the house will remain for two kids only. If you’ve adopted more than two kids and still want to use this house, use AFT to make them followers and MHIYH to tell them where to sleep (thanks, AkaBacon, for the tip). Move your steward next to Raaya, either don’t hire a bard or move him in the basement, and have the extra (2) kids use the music room. Optional: scale that bed at 0.8 and remove the booze.
If any kids hoarder out there wants to translate the above (or any other variation) in CK, I’m willing to give my permission for upload as an alternate version, but I must see that file first.

Q: How to gain access to the Vampire Room?
    No longer available with v2.0.0.
A: (v1.1.0)Once you become a vampire, a sliding door will appear on the southern wall of the basement.

Q: What and where can I display?
A: v2.0.0 You'll find all the info needed in the display guides.
    (v1.1.0)Here’s the list

Greeting, still loving the mod, have noticed that the glass display keeps dropping the great sword & the 1 handed sword.  Not a big deal, but cosmetically with the one hander laying on the floor grates at my OCD bit.

I hear you :). Unfortunately, static weapons use havok-ed models. Changing them to remove havok would result in creating new objects, which would no longer be compatible with various weapons overhauls. Try Jaxonz Positioner or something similar to put them back in place, till I figure the best way to deal with them.

It's a great mod if you have a good PC and high speed SSD, because she used 6k objects in the main house, which is hilarious bad for loading a medium size house, i will still use the cellar which is great (i love the painting :) )

I tried to reduced to 3k objects, but way too much weird stuff added, i mean. i appreciate the effort, it looks nice, but it's very bad for performance to add 6k objects in a small cell in this mediocre engine. 3K is too much, but 6? Oh well, maybe when i am bored i am gona work on it, to reduce to 3-2k max, since i like many parts of it, and there is no better alternative for Lakeview, beside huge palaces (that probably have 2k objects in them  :))) )

Nop, but i found that this mod uses between 1(min) and up to 2 gigs of RAM(and god knows how much VRAM) in most cases, so uninstalled as fast i could. I am gona keep it the cellar cell and link it from my other houses. What a mess (large part from Besthesda Heartfires). She made it look great, but 2gigs of ram alone, no thanks, at least until i get 16gb.

Would CAO (Cathedral Assets Optimizer) easily scale all the textures down to 1K? I've only found and started reading about it this morning (very new to modding) but seems like it's what you're looking for!

yeah i already did that, but you cant do anything good about it, due to the house made on top of heartfire system which is awful if you try to do something as complex as the author did. I linked the cellar to my other houses and all is well now.

Even if you were right, you, dragon, should have refrained from passing verdicts. But you’re wrong, which gives “her” the delightful task of setting the records straight. “She” added less than 3500 objects - not an ideal object count, true, but each and every one of them needed for the functionality and level of detail “she” was looking for. “She” won’t comment on what Bethesda did in HF, suffice to say 97% of the original objects are disabled and should remain so, hence they have very little impact on performance.
The mod is fully optimized. Yet, if it’s still too big of a price for you, then don’t use it. Simple as that, no cause for such drama.

Regardless, you’re welcome. Maybe next time you illustrate your mods you’ll pick a “huge palace with 2k objects” as background.

Don't all mods disable achievements?  There's a "Play with Mods at your own risk" kind of warning when you start up Skyrim with Mods installed...

I'm a little late to this question but there is a mod called achievements mods enabler that bypasses the rule regarding mods.

I wanted to report a bug  but no way to do it the bug report button not there ..

It is a weird thing in fact ,
In the master bedroom my wife goes to sleep and uses the old large original Bed markers so she stays sleeping in the air above the pillows that are on the floor by the chimney !

I will later go in CK and try deleting the Old markers ..

Thanks for this beautiful remake of this house .. its incredible..

      You're welcome.
There's no report bug button because people found it irresistible in the past and 95% of reports were either their own incapacity to follow instructions or issues due to mod conflicts, so I removed it.
You don't want to do that. That's not a leftover marker, it's the original bed (scaled down to make it invisible) and it's mandatory for moving the spouse to Lakeview. Weird that she uses it, though, the sleep package points to the mod added bed and in all my tests they've picked it without exception. I'll see if I can do anything else about it, but I've tried before and this was the best solution. Maybe make the wife follower and tell her where to sleep (with AFT + MHIYH combination)?

Patch what? ELFX does nothing in Lakeview. And even if it did, it would have been based on the original light sources.

Curious if anyone found a resolution for the sleeping on the invisible bed issue. I have this same issue and I could not resolve it with MHIYH or AFT.

no because when you choose the "own land in falkreath" option, the small house filled with furniture, and you can't have anything built inside the house. However, you can do any other choice in Alternate Start, you just can't choose having land in falkreath.

The steel armor display do not work for me. I added the weapons and the armor but only weapons show up. I do not use any armor mods.

    Edit.
For some reason it appeared when I visited the house some days later.

so I noticed that they removed the option to add bugs, so I have to put it here. When adding the elder scroll dragon to the unique display case, it doesn't appear in the main world, but shows up in the inventory.
