THIS IS NOT AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF END OF SUPPORT FOR THE PATCHES. QUITE THE OPPOSITE. OLD PATCHES WILL BE UPDATED AS NEED ARISES, AND NEW PATCHES WILL STILL BE DEVELOPED. JUST AT THAT PAGE, NOT THIS ONE.
I hope you'll all join me there. I think you'll all like the new, very sophisticated automated patch installer package.
Modders, Guide Authors: If your page has a link to this or the Featherweight page, please redirect your links to the new page.
I will leave these pages as is for a time, until links have been redirected, but there's really no reason I can think of to prefer the old patch style over the new one. If you can think of such a reason, please do let me know at the new page.
If you appreciate these patches and would like to see more, please remember to endorse! It actually takes me a LOT more time to package and upload these patches properly than it does for me to make them for myself for my own use, so knowing that the extra work is appreciated would very much help keep me going. Thanks in advance!
Hi Qwinn, thanks for the patch, but wanna ask about the CRF and The Ordinary Woman Patch, since the patch is for CRF 3.0.6 and for TOW 2.0, since the CRF now is updated to ver 3.0.8 and TOW updated to 3.0, is the patch still working? thanks...
Girl's heavy armors patch - says not needed if standalone. I have the standalone and there is no crafting option for steel plate armor. SSEDit shows only a steel plate circlet and no other steel plate armor.
" I've fixed the Steel Plate issue in my USSEP patch" I assume this is for the replacer only correct?
Hmmm... yeah, the standalone probably doesn't need a USSEP patch, but it probably DOES need a patch for that bug. Give me a day or to to look at that version.
I took a look, and for whatever reason, the Steel Plate armor requires Arcane Armorsmithing perk to make. Do you have that perk yet? If not, try taking it and see if it appears for you.
Either way, whatever's not making it appear is unrelated to the issue I fixed in my patch.
Just so you know, I won't be checking this page that often anymore, but I would be happy to answer questions like this on the new QUASIPC page.
Personally, I don't know how the featherweight patches test could be going any more successfully for the amount of people who have tried it. I haven't had a single report of a problem yet. To sort-of answer your other question, I think the featherweight patches are a better option than merging the patches at this point, because by merging them you are effectively moving the patches lower than necessary in your load order (you can't place that merged patch right after all 3 of those mods), and that is bad. You should only *want* to merge because of the 254 plugin limit, and whereas merging definitely can cause problems,, ESPFEs so far haven't.
Oh, and the CRF and IC patches for Luminosity do have a conflicting record. The IC patch should overwrite/load after the CRF patch. It would need to be resolved that way in any merge attempt... but again, IMO merging is just straight out bad practice if it can be at all avoided.
Already done. The USSEP patch was elminated as no longer necessary, and the new CRF patch does what it needs to and all no-longer necessary edits were removed. Unless you believe I missed something?
I'm sorry if this isn't the right person to ask, but as you're doing such a great job making patches and helping us all keep our games stable, I thought I'd give it a try. I'd noticed some issues between the popular follower M'rissi Tails of Troubles and Immersive College of Winterhold. Would a patch be possible?
Hey. could you create another patch for skyrim 3d trees and whitrun forest borealis. if you use both of these modes, then there are often small trees inside large.
I'm not using that mod currently, but perhaps soon. In the meantime, you're about to get some Skyrim 3D Trees love. Updated both existing patches to the new 3.2.0 version of S3DTrees, and releasing a patch just for USSEP as well, to hold us over until Mathy79 releases his next version (not anytime soon) at which point he plans to implement them directly in his ESP.
I also plan on developing a CRF patch. I noticed that at CRF's restored Frostfire Farm with 3DTrees installed, there's a floating tree and another one clipping into the farm itself. (It could actually be the new Landscape mod too, will check). I'll visit all the areas restored by CRF and make sure that and any other issues get resolved.
So going to be doing some work on the patches today (26 JUN 2018):
1) Deprecating the Relighting Skyrim USSEP patch - no longer necessary as of RS 1.03. Won't do any harm, just no longer needed. 2) Removing those USSEP edits from the RS-CRF patch. Again, old patch won't do any harm, just bigger than it needs to be now. 3) Adjusting the Girls Heavy Armor USSEP patch to defer to GHA's setting in some cases on whether or not to display amulets. Also fixing an oversight in the mod that prevents GHA's Steel Plate model from appearing in game. 4) Adding 3 way patch for Harvest Overhaul Redone Plants + Skyrim 3D Trees + Flora Respawn Fix 5) Adding versioning to the base file names for each uploaded patch as I go, to deal with the fact that you can't update a file once it's been uploaded to Nexus, it must be a new file name for it to take.
As for RIF, I wouldn't recommend it with Luminosity, or at least, try Luminosity without it. It darkens the fog considerably to the point I haven't run into anywhere yet where I thought that fog needed removing. If you find somewhere where the fog is so bad with Luminosity that it needs RIF, let me know where so I can take a look.

Is merging the Luminosity+CRF/RW2/IC patches here ok?
