i have a Drizzt character as well, I couldnt get the Guen mod from oldrim to work but the Loki Panther follower isnt a bad alternative. if you use jaxsonz renamer tool you can change his name too. Hey man I am just a regular skyrim mod player, however I want to express that the idea of creating Drizzt Do'Urden is awesome. Just like some other comments in this forum I agree that to embody what Drizzt Do'Urden is will take time, but I swear to Odin that it will be fu%#ing awesome if you were to get it right. You could simply use the wiki page for inspiration on how to construct his physical body, his powers and who he is to start. I applaud and encourage you to keep at it and am excited to see what you can come up with. Thanks!
DD is my fav char of all time so i know i'm picky and it has been years since i read his story but it seems i remenber drow elves had ebony black skin, i mean coal black, and white hair i dont remember eye color, i could be wrong tho
Yes, that is the difficulty with making a save game for download. Everyone with some knowledge about Drizzt, have a personal view about his looks or the Drow race as such. I almost regret that I uploaded him.
But it seems that I must have done a lousy job on all my save games here if I look at the download rate vs. the endorsements. So I couldn't have done a that much worse job on Drizzt? :- )
And nothing stops you from open up ECE and edit him to your liking. ;- )
I understand that anything in the books is open to interpretation but he’s supposed to have sharp features (much like the standard dunmer). This is too soft. Also, due to the limitations of the hairstyle you chose, it appears blonde and not white. I recommend a different hair style with better white support
Well, I won't do any more save games. But as you have ECE and the Apachii Skyhair, it will be a pretty easy thing for you to correct him to your liking. As you correctly point out, the books are open for interpretation. And it's impossible for me to keep everybody happy.
And I have quit making save games mostly because I 'm out of ideas for new ones and that some that I would have liked to do are lacking important mods. Snake Plissken / Kurt Russel from the Escape from New York and LA movies for example. There are no eye patch mod to get that work as for now.
Besides, I want to play the game myself a bit too. :- )
The bar is very high, people expect to see aesthetically very powerful characters, very handsome or beautiful NPCs, the problem is that your characters are very simple, that kind of aesthetics could be done years ago, when there were no tools, and SSE is still limited in that aspect.
However you can do the characters in Oldrim with RaceMenu, and then carry them to SSE, you would have many options to edit the face, it can take you time, even hours, but you would do something that people like for real.
If you want my personal opinion, I would tell you not to give up, try Oldrim and its tools and make a decent preset, expose it and ask for opinions, that's how you learn!
