really usefull mod, but lately it seems to be bugging a bit, for example when i open my inventory it spawns my clone next to me instead of opening the inventory first. i have to click it twice to open and even then sometimes it doesn't show at all, let me know if anyone has a similar issue perhaps i installed it wrong or some other mod is messing with it.
Tried this mod out, wish I had read the comments before downloading. First of all, you press the menu button, look left and get the s#*! scared out of you by your clone. I thought I would just disable the mod and reload my save. This save spawned the clone as an NPC who is shouting insults at me. Funny stuff. But not so funny that I probably have to restart my game entirely now. Beware
Hard to tell what im about to get into with this mod in 2023 but im going to install 1.1 ( as so clearly stated) and edit this comment with an after install update.

I've played this game for like 100 hours and I've never really cared what I wore because I never saw it. In fact, I don't want to know how much I've run around naked because there were many times I realized I'd accidentally removed all my gear. Definitely will try this out - the 1.1 version, I understand newer ones will break the game.
I'll admit, this is a great mod (I considered it essential for all my VR playthroughs). However, like most outdated mods, it doesn't work.
Well, it's actually worse then that, because after installing the mod, it appears to work perfectly. But actually breaks the story, a large amount of quest events, causes CTD's, fairly buggy, etc. By the time you realise this you can't remove the mod from your save and have to restart the game (even ReSaver can't save it).
Here's issues I found, which are caused with just this installed on my setup:
- Talking to Delphine after defeating the Dragon (at the first burial site) no longer advances the Main Quest - Cultists being killed no longer starts the Dragonborn DLC - Eola doesn't spawn, Cannibalism stuff cannot start too - Dark Brotherhood had issues (I can't recall specifically) - Companions had issues (I can't recall specifically) - Picking up the Stone from the first dungeon wasn't being detected (main quest) - CTD's, completely random, sometimes opening UI, othertimes not - The 'Clone' sometimes spawns inside itself with deformed limbs - The 'Clone' sometimes just doesn't match the right animation - Equipping certain clothes doesn't seem to be synced - Opening Inventory is now 2, 3, or 4 clicks, also random - The Clone doesn't use the same body type as you, say, you use a body charger (UNP, CBBE, etc), you just get the default vanilla body instead.
I'll add all the quest notes, console commands don't work for most of the times it breaks. Completing them through console doesn't even work. There's probably more, but I started I new playthrough early after realising this was causing it.
Please warn others atleast on the mod page, I'm not the only one with these issues clearly. This is the version you recommend for VR (which you copy-pasted to everyone as a reply).
Personally I think FRIK's selfie mode is a better solution to the problem you try to solve, moving the player instead of cloning them.
Hello, So this mod has issue with transforming into vampire lord. Switched this mod off it work just fine. Its a shame though, as I really enjoy using it.....

This mod (the older, less buggy version) COMPLETELY broke the vampire lord transformation.

There's a bug report titled "A Blade in the Dark bug" which occurs on 1.22.
I don't think it's fixed.
