The Imperial Bow's scope is still on the right side. Dunno if I did something wrong or if it's just an oversight. Hunting bow is correct, so I assume it's specifically just the imperial bow, but then again I've only found the two so far.
Nevermind, I'm just a dumbass who installed the wrong mod, lol
Bit confused by the header image. That's a righty bow!
A bow's handedness is determined by the hand you use to draw the string back. However, you should choose a bow based on your dominant eye. You can't change eye dominance but you can retrain handedness.
Search Prof G. for Miles Test or Porta Test to determine eye dominance.
Perhaps ask if the wabbajack UVRE authors can include this version as well as the right handed version in their UVRE modpack. As the way scoped bows VR is installed it is not as simple as removing the right handed version and putting in your lefty version. Not a complaint on you btw - im sure your mod is great!
I have this and the proper mods installed. It works, but the scope doesn't seem to be zeroed properly. The actual aim location is vastly different to where the scope is pointing, at any range. I have tried fiddling with the fbowHoldOffsetY value in the .ini (tried the recommended -6.6 value and also a 6.6 value) but nothing seems to have changed. Any suggestions? Now that I look at it again, maybe if I changed fbowHoldOffsetX it would make a difference? Or maybe not?
Edit: It did not work
Edit 2: Turning off "adjust held weapons" in the VRIK MCM menu seems to have fixed it, mostly. Scopes don't seem to align perfectly, especially on the Ancient Nord Bow, so I will have to fiddle with the .ini it seems.
Hi I manually downloaded the file. Opened my PC went to Programmes (x86), Steam, Steamapps, Common, Skyrim VR, Data and pasted the meshes folder. Nothing changed. Where am I going wrong please?
Hi. Me again. I'm really sorry but I don't understand how to do this. Could you please do a quick run through. Using NMM I just get an error message. And I can't do it manually because I don't understand what you mean about the meshes. I really want this mod.
No problem. I've went ahead and uploaded a second version with different file format hoping that will fix the issue if you want to try that first.
From Nexus mod manager there's an open folder icon (second or third from the left, not the one with the tools underneath it). Clicking it should give you a dropdown with a few options, one of which is "open game folder", that's the one we want.
It should open your skyrim VR folder, and from there you want to find your data folder and enter that. Make sure it contains a folder called meshes (don't open it yet), you should get this when installing scoped bows SE.
Then you want to download my mod manually and open it with 7zip, winrar or similar program.
Drag and drop the contents (should be a lone folder called meshes) into your Skyrim VR data folder.
It should merge the two folders and give you a prompt to replace the files from scoped bows SE. Allow the files to be overwritten, and you should be all set!
I have bat files in my misc section that gives you all the scoped bows (and carryweight), bound bow (and magicka) and a little bit of money too for testing purposes. Needs to be edited in notepad because scoped bows first two id numbers depend from the load order.

Do you have scoped bows installed?
Both the Forsworn and Imperial bow work on my end, can't test the others as I don't know the ID's or have the smithing skill.
