Does anyone know if there's a way to flag any items as tools for this mod? The crafting kits in Wildlander, which may be from Requiem or one or more other mods in that list, let you craft out and about, but it seems a bit silly that those wouldn't include a hammer or whatever basic tool for their craft - basically, as it is now, you can't smith without the hammer even if you have a smithing kit, which allows you to temper on the fly and do a certain amount of crafting. It would be awesome for this mod to recognize those items as the relevant tools.
Everything is controlled through a perk called "_SAG_BlockActivation_CraftingTools" that is placed on the NPC. You'd have to add in the new items as part of the conditions in that perk. Ideally the conditions could all be changed to check formlists, and then an FML file could be used to easily add mod-added items to the formlists for compatibility. That would be the least amount of change needed since that single perk would need the change. The permissions seem to allow that if anyone is interested. Maybe sagittarious22 could comment about this?
I tested the crafting kits in Loot and Degradation and those work fine without blacksmith hammers. I suggest dropping the crafting kit from Wildlander on the ground, clicking on it (with More Informative Console installed), then reporting what plugin and mod it comes from over in the CNT Expanded mod and I'll look into adding compatibility for it.
If the option to buy tools from vendors doesn't show up, you'll need to create a SEQ file. Do this in xedit by right-clicking the plugin and choosing More...Create seq file.
I really like the idea, but the tools sadly don't show up for me - might it have something to do with the updates that Bethesda has showered us with lately, or am I doing something wrong? (Installation with Vortex, the .esp-Plugin is enabled, I tried mainly the Windhelm traders. My game version is 1.6.342. and I updated PapyrusUtil, SKSE and Address Library for SKSE after the last game update.)
This mod should be compatible with all versions of the game. I'm pretty sure it does not require skse, papyrusutil, or address library. Why are people saying this? There are no DLLs, and I looked through all the scripts and don't see any skse function calls.

Would be a cool feature.
