I'm only port the port for SSE. The original mod is here : MacGrioghair's Great Kilt
Any bug report, request, etc... must be adressed to the author.
If you like this mod, go to the orignal mod and endorse it, and give a kudo to its creator!

Note: if you equip only the kilt, and not an upper part providing by this mod, your arms will be transparent.
This is not a bug from this conversion, it's in the original mod (see below).

Description from the original mod

Description:This mod adds a light armor Great Kilt and optional Fly Plaid with swapable tops.

I am not a modder, and I have too much respect for actual modders to call
myself one. There was just no Great Kilts to be found, so with zero
modding experience, I set out to make one. It was quite the learning
curve, and I'm sure I haven't done everything correctly, but I'm quite
pleased with the end result, and thought there might be someone else out
there who might enjoy adventuring in Skyrim in a Great Kilt.

A very special thanks to the modders who have either graciously granted me
permission to use their files for this project, or have provided use
freely. I could not have done this without you.

***Important. Please read*** In my attempt to make this mod modular, I have had to remove the skin from
the Great Kilt chest to eliminate the skin from clipping through the
chest pieces. In order for this mod to display properly, you must equip
both the kilt AND a chest piece. I am exploring better ways to implement
this, and will update once complete. Thanks!

V2.1 Release (V2.11 fixes a texture path issue from V2.1)

Thanks to the incredible support and encouragement of this community!

This marks a whole month and 1 week of modding eperience, and while I don't
consider myself a modder yet (I sorely lack alot of the technical
knowledge), thanks to you I am slowly becoming one! So to paraphrase one
of the users, "Keep your head up and your kilt down!" -MacGrioghair

This will be my last update (besides additional tartans) until I can figure
out a better way to do the modular aspect of this mod. I'll be breaking
up the pieces to allow for greater customization, and allow users to use
pieces from other mods, instead of being reliant on my offerings. When
the female version is released, it will be completely modular.

V2.1 features:

*Crafting- is added for all pieces. The light and heavy versions are the same
requirements for Dragonscale and Dragonplate respectively. All options
are located on the tanning rack, and only cost 1 leather each to make.
When I figure out a better modular implementation I will readdress
crafting, but not until then. Also, if you don't want to wait for
crafting, while in game, type ` to activate the console command screen, type help kilt 4, which will give
you a list of everything. Then type player.additem (idnumber) 1

*Heavy Armor Variant- I've added MacGrioghair's Heavy Great Kilt.

*Meshes- I cleaned up a good bit (more) to get a better presentation.

*New Tartans-
MacDonald Ancient Tartan will be added later tonight.

Installation/uninstallation

NMM-Download, activate, enjoy. To uninstall, right click on GreatKilt and choose delete and uninstall.
Manual- Download the file and unzip. Copy/paste into the main Skyrim folder. To
uninstall, remove the GreatKilt.esp, and delete the GreatKilt folders
in Meshes>Armor and Textures>Armor.
Alternate Tartans- *EDIT* The tartan files do not seem to work with the manager, so I have
disabled the NMM button for now. Use the manual download for these.

***Disabled for now, as I;m getting weird stuff with the NMM. NMM-Download,
(activate Yes to override all), enjoy. To revert back to the original,
just reinstall the original GreatKilt file.
Manual- Download the file and unzip. Copy/paste the contents of the GreatKilt folder into
Data>Textures>Armor>GreatKilt. something is deleting the Armor
folder on the MacGregor file and I can't figure out what. The Gordon
file is hit or miss using NMM. To uninstall completely, use the main
file instructions.
