Is there a way to only get rid of the compass/location bar? I'm fine with everything else and prefer it, but the other gets in my field of view and is very annoying.

Thank you very much for this light-weight method of removing HUD elements from VR. I used your instructions to create my own version with a sneak indicator only.

Also to those who want to also remove other HUD elements by zero-sizing them:
BottomRightLockInstance, BottomLeftLockInstance - weapon charges meter (I think you need to zero-size both)
CompassShoutMeterHolder - shout cooldown timer that surrounds the compass and still remains when you remove compass in game options

You should try posting that. I and a few others would endorse it.

EDIT: Nevermind - I installed an older build and the edit button works! :)
    ---------------------------------
I really appreciate you posting the instructions on how you did this.
I managed to get JPEX to open the SWF file but no matter what I do I can't get the Edit button to enable so I can't actually edit the values.
Is there perhaps a step I'm missing or a trick you figured out?
    thanks!

Important Information Overhaul (adds a colour filter to indicated low mana or health) goes well with this. One has to go find a copy of the mod though since it is no longer available.

Important Information Overhaul is an awesome mod; too bad the mod author was so petty. The only explanation I can find for him removing all of his mods, was that he was mad Trump won.

In case anyone is looking for this, Better Resource Warnings is a newer alternative to IIO (and as a bonus, can also replace Earlier Health Warnings, so one less esp required):

That's a really strange reason. What did Trump have to do with the mods, I wonder. Some people take politics too damn far.

I was going to use Immersive Hud but that I take it is not for VR.

This one looks great, I was looking for one to remove the Damage bars from enemies..

check out the guides on the SkyrimVR subreddit, you can remove damage bars with an ini edit, or you can change them with the mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17812

I use the gray version without the name, myself.

I have managed to get rid of all bars except the Enchantment one that comes up now when I weld an enchanted weapon.

      Any tips ?

Is there anyway to get rid or move the big text that shows the button you need to press on your controller then the big TALK LIDIA text.

It's the biggest issue I have with Skyrim VR... I hate that big text right in front of my face, in oldrim I could move it to the bottom of the screen with less intrusive hud but still cannot find a mod like it , including SE version , for Skyrim VR.

yes, it's an .ini setting, download Bilago configurator and search for activat in it or see reddit
