Any way you could be persuaded to make a version of this mod for Fertility Mode?

Edit: I take it back... I may have just figured out how to do it! :-D

Edit 2: It appears that Fertility Mode already has this feature.

Odd, I do not remember hearing them.
I will play around in the settings and check.
      Thank you for looking.

Crying babies in Skyrim? No, thank you. Nirnroot is annoying enough.

Then don’t download it. Very simple. Everyone has their own personal taste when it comes to mods. :-)

Is there any way to add the baby to a sling or pouch where the mom can use both hands? I have seen mothers carry babies in backpack contraptions in the front and on their back and slings in the front or rear. I do believe this mod has merit and will follow to see where it goes from here. For me, only my opinion, I can not picture this being realistic in my game as of yet. But, as I mentioned earlier, it does have merit at immersion. Thank you for your work.

So, I didn’t create Diversifying Skyrim, nor do I have anything to do with it’s management. This is just a really simple audio add-on to make the babies cry. You’d need to talk to the actual author, foster xbl. (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9193) And I’m pretty sure from a conversation I already had with Foster that the main mod is not going to be changed or added to.

That said, I have been considering doing something like what you’re talking about in a separate mod.

The Fertility Mode mod adds a baby in a sling for the player character, so such a model does already exist. https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1704/images/13068-0-1508680128.jpg

And I had worked on trying to create a model of an older baby on a papoose board type contraption, in a 3D editor. Unfortunately, although I made a decent looking baby, I ran into a problem with importing it into the game and gave up a couple years ago.

Awwww, aleniskendra, THAT would be absolutely awesome!!!

Oh my god, the models you're talking about sound amazing!! Wouldn't you perhaps want to give it one more try? I mean this would be a dream come true! I would download the mod + endorse + vote for it in in instant !!!! such immersion!!! <3

This is an incredible mod, you seem to have recognized precisely what Diversifying was missing, even if the rest of us haven't! Trully impressive, thanks for this! Real awesome :)

This is an amazing addition to Diversifying Skyrim. In launching an attack in Frostmere, I heard a baby crying and avoided skewering the mother with an arrow! She survived the attack and was left to wander around. The sound adds that little extra in role play. Endorsed. Nice one.
(I used the louder baby cry as the other one was a bit faint).

I installed it after the Diversify SE, both are very low on my mods list... the Diversify works fine, I saw the Riverwood's blacksmith wife with the babe on her arms... but I haven't hear the voice of the baby. I picked the quite-version. Is it TOO quite, so I couldn't hear the baby?

It’s possible, if you play with the music at the default level. The loud version is intended for people who play with music. Also, the baby doesn’t cry unless the mother is walking around. So, if she was sitting, then that may be why.

She was standing besides the blacksmith and talking each other. Hm, perhaps that.

Looks interesting, but I'm getting an error, whether I download through the mod manager or manually:

Error registering this mod: Real Crying Babies - An Immersive Sound Add-On For Foster XLB's Diversifying Skyrim SE-16
Error: The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters.

Manually shortening the name to "Real Crying Babies - An Immersive Sound Add-On" and then installing it manually fixed it.

Hmmm, thanks for letting me know. Oddly, I can't seem to replicate that error. I tested both manually and downloading through Mod Organizer.

So, to clarify... the name of the mod is what you shortened? Not any of the file names? Also, what mod manager are you using? Nexus mod manager?

My theory is that it's not actually the name length but the fact that I nested the folders that is throwing off the installation for you. Going to reupload both files without the folder nesting. If anyone else has this issue, please let me know/submit a bug report.
