This is a conversion of my Touch Skin Dovahkiin for the Vive Controllers.
To get this done:
1. Navigate to the folder \Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\resources\rendermodels\vr_controller_vive_1_5
backup or rename the file called onepointfive_texture.png (e.g onepointfive_texture.png.original)
2. Unpack the downloaded skin to your preferred Directory and from there, copy/paste it to the vr_controller_vive_1_5
folder, where you just renamed the original file.
As i don´t have the corresponding hardware, i have to thank u/carslawx for his support and testing my skins ambitiously!
