    Hello everyone!

I have moved my mod The Elder Scrolls Tomes to this new account and reworked it into something I can deem as high quality. Future updates will now be here. Also, I have merged critical features from Aetherial Veins into this new add-on! Please check the changelog to see all the fixes and changes! And please keep me informed on what needs to be patched; I don't play with many mods so I have no clue on what conflicts.

Follow this link to see a Full Spell List.

Follow this one to see a larger, slightly more detailed Compatibility sheet.

    Happy modding:)!

To keep everyone in the light I'm letting you all know that I'm currently working on patches! Analyzing Ordinator and Path of Sorcery predominantly.

Note: You can still use this mod alongside those overhauls; You won't get SOME perk benefits for my spells though (perks that increase duration or magnitude besides the main "Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, Master"-like perks).

Awesome mod! I have been using it a lot but I was wondering what are the stats of the new conjurable creatures? In wikis, there is information on the health, stamina, magicka and any armour/weapons used. Would be handy to know!

Mark and Recall, and other teleportation spells seem to be the hottest of the spells out there. There are other mods that add similar or same spells already, have to keep very careful watch on what mod adds what spell to avoid duplicates these days. Would it be possible, or would there be any point to, add installer to choose what spells I add to my game? Though it isn't impossible to edit things out myself, so it's not the biggest problem in the world.
I'm mostly tracking this mod for now, as I'm not super keen on adding more things into the game in the middle of a playthrough, but I'll definitely use this on any playthrough afterwards where I intend to use magic. Aetherial Vein has been such a great mod for me so far, so I'm looking forward to using more of your creations.

You can make changes to level lists in esp files without breaking things. The changes you make will update once inventories get reset in the game regularly. As long as you don't outright remove an esp you should be fine.

Yes :) You can safely remove spells from my leveled lists with the prefix UDLC01 and it will remove them from the vanilla leveled lists automatically.

I figured I would add a brand new clean post that notes all of the "issues" I have found.

    - Drain Souls Spell leaves looping sound effect. Not sure of the exact fix for this as I know it has to do with the way the spell works and the sound descriptor used but this is probably the most important issue since the looping sound gets baked into your save.

    - Waterwalking doesn't appear in for magic vendors. This should be able to bough from any spell tome vendor since it is an apprentice spell. I was able to fix this by adding the book to two level lists (UDLC01LItemSpellTomes25AllAlteration & UDLC01LItemSpellTomes25Alteration)

    - Slowfall doesn't appear for in some magic vendor lists. This is a novice spell so it should be sold by every spell tome vendor except for the expert/master college npcs. I was able to fix this by adding the book to the level list (UDLC01LItemSpellTomes00AllAlteration)

    - Open Apprentice/Adept/Expert Lock spells weren't working all the time for me. I could only use the corresponding spell for the corresponding lock, i.e. apprentice for apprentice, and even then I had trouble getting it to work on treasure chests. I am not sure if it working on only the corresponding lock is intended as I think they should work on the easier locks as well. I was able to fix both issues by going to each perk for these spells and removing the 2nd condition (Greater than or equal to 25,50,75 lockpicking).

Everything else I have used works fine so far so thank you for that last update. Definitely looking forward to you adding back in the telepathic touch spells and the only other recommendation I have is to update the version noted on Nexus as it says 1.0.0 when your latest file is 1.0.1.

But I can't find them. I have 100 Alteration, but nobody sell them.
I have this problem also in The Elder Scrolls Tomes.
      Sorry for bad English(

Strange, make sure the .esp is activated.
This add-on injects the new content with a script so load order shouldn't matter at all.
Are you installing it manually? Or with a mod manager?

Check the vendors in Riften and at the Mage college, that's where I found waterwalking, from the vendor in Riften, in the Keep

I noticed you have a couple of links regarding the spells added(though, without descriptions of what they do), and compatibility. It might be a good idea to put those links in the description for the mod, as well as add descriptions of what your new spells actually do. Some of them are fairly self explanatory, but it would probably still be a good idea, as some people may not be familiar with older games magic systems. As for compatibility, Not everyone is well versed in how modding works, so making it clear which mods, if any, this conflicts with, both soft(possible duplicates, etc. Not tremendously bad) and hard(crashes the game, etc. You know. The code red kind of incompatibility.) would probably be an excellent idea. Anyway, fantastic work. Have a lovey day, or night, depending on where you are.

I agree. I plan on updating the description (it takes time since I did everything in Illustrator and Photoshop) once this last week of school finishes :).

//Snipped a bunch of completely wrong stuff, all because I never went to the Magic Vendors in the Mage Guild and Riften.//

Everything is working as it should.

Walterwalking isn't in any of the custom level lists he added that are injected through the script. This means I have to update the Project AHO patch I made to add this spell since I used the level lists as a base.

Slowfall is missing from one of the level lists as well which is probably why it isn't showing up.

I also noticed that the Open Lock spells only work on doors/display cases and only on their corresponding lock difficulty. Is this intended?

      Edit

I went into the .esp and removed the greater than 25.. conditions for each of the Open Lock apprentice, adept and expert spells and they seem to be working fine. Now I can open all locks adept or lower with Open Lock: Adept which seems to be how it was supposed to be.

Hmmm, I'm wondering if Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim and this mode are clashing, because they both use scripts to assign the spells.
And I'm missing all of the Apocalypse Alteration 3 spells and missing the Destruction level 3 and 4 spells (My Destruction is 88)
I'm guessing BOTH scripts are triggering at the same time, and they're clashing?

      NOPE, I was wrong.

I use apocalypse as well and other than the two spells I mentioned, I am not missing anything.

Note though that adept spells show up 10 levels before your skill is 50. It works the same way with expert and master spells.

The spells you are missing from that telekinesis mod probably have to do with a level list issue or they are acquired in a different manner.

Interesting, because I don't have ANY Adept Alteration Spells, from both "Tomes" and "Apocalypse" none of the vendors sell them.
The Waterwalking spell is level 2, so I should've had it quite a long time ago.

That's because I didn't walk my lazy butt to Riften.

Which vendors are you checking? Normally Adept Alteration spells can only be bought from Tolfdir and Wylandriah
