The process of new releases is the following:

    1. New SSE or SAE are posted and a bit later, SKSE is updated. Now JC needs an update.
    2. I will very likely hear about that, therefore there is no need to hurry on and comment here or create me a ticket on GitHub.
    3. It takes between few to several days, usually,  for a new JC update to be developed.
    4. A pre-release is uploaded on GitHub.
    5. That pre-release is recommended for Testers. Those are people with technical knowledge, who can provide meaningful feedback.
    6. Depending on the changes, in a few to several days, an official release is made and is uploaded here, on Nexus.

    Additional, FAQ

Q: Anniversary (AE) vs Special (SE) edition?
A: JC is released only for SE and VR. It just happens AE shares the same runtime as SE. Therefore use JC 4.2.x or later, if you have AE or if you have the latest SE updates i.e. 1.6.x runtimes and later. If you haven't upgraded your SE, nor have AE, as always, choose a SKSE version based on your runtime, and then choose JC based on that SKSE.

    Q: When Address Library?
A: Never. JC bundles SKSE and SKSE does not use Address Library on its own. It is awful a lot of work to fix this.

Q: Can you work on X?
A: I'm sorry, my support for this mod is pretty limited.

Hi Rado! I will be taking down or hide my original mod - JContainters for several days. Will you support me and do the same?I wanted some attention from gaming community to the events happening in my country where I live, in Ukraine.I know that Nexus tries to keep neutral position and to not discuss politics.

It is your mod so I think you have the right to show your message on it.

      P.S. To everyone else:

That temporary change is by the wish of SilverIced, the author of this mod.
However, please use other forums to discuss that topic.

Playing on the GOG version (since the steam version broke my damn game even after I downgraded) my only issue is I have the jcontainers gog version installed but in game it's telling its not installed not sure why. Everything works but if I go to bed it doesn't change into my clothes I sleep in in because it's saying jcontainers isn't installed. Does anyone no how to fix this issue or having the same issue?

Been getting lots of console errors for GoG v1.6.659. Pretty sure it's JContainer related, could you make an update for this version please. Currently using v4.2.6 from the old files section, my console is getting spammed with errors like:

Warning: access to non-existing object with id 0x4599 (19453)

I'm getting so frustrated over this Skyrim version hell. I hate Bethesda at this point, truly.

CORRECTION: FINALLY! (I THINK) I've narrowed it down to SlaveTats as the problem, apologies.
I still have no idea why I'm getting this warning message however, if anyone has the answer I'd LOVE to hear why. Or how to actually figure out what it means. I'm pretty sure it's JContainers that's spitting the warning out, but after looking at those logs, I still have no idea.

The search continues, but getting closer! I'm so happy it's not JContainers, because I wasn't looking forward to rewriting the SLAnimation Loader, that and SlaveTats are the only two mods I really want that uses it, I could live without SlaveTats, and even recreate it much easier probably than the Animation Loader, but rebuilding either one would really annoy me.

For the record, I haven't noticed ANYTHING wrong with SlaveTats the enitre time I've been using it, without stumbling across the error in their forums, I would have never guessed it was the actual cause of the warnings.

    Spoiler:
    Show

I left the part about Bethesda un-striked, because it's still true ;-P

I use GOG instead. But I guess it's just a matter of time, when GOG is updating too.

Late but just if some didn't know
      FYI:
Benefit of GoG version and best is it won't force the update.
BUT if by any chance you updated by mistake or on purpose, but want to go back because of mods, it's as simple as loading the GoG client* and do a direct downgrade by picking the installers from the client*, and done! no fuss, no jumping hoops or any crazy stuff.

*You need the client to access the older builds, as on the website you only get access to most recent installer.

ps: You also need to clean the files in XEdit/SSEEdit same as in steam build,  a lot of people don't know that last part.

If anyone else is still wondering: you can download JContainers (GOG) v. 4.2.12 for Skyrim GOG v. 1.6.1179 from GitHub here (it requires SKSE GOG v. 2.2.6). As well as JContainers (VR) v. 4.2.11 for Skyrim VR 1.4.15 - you can also find it there below the latest GOG version (it requires SKSE v. 2.0.12).

Yeah..it aint for GOG..I've tried it and no go if it was meant to be for steam..Vortex is relentless when it comes to be so-called PROPER numbering for a given and type of mods, in this case JC's..lol In this case might take a while getting it from testing to final...patience..the same scenario for me, with  smpt and race
    🙄

Thanx 😉I know I'm on top of it as we're texting... Just Vortex giving me strife with the logical numbers in its database😌The only thing left is RaceMenu.....the proper one and Vortex would leave me alone and don't have to skip certain mods missing skse, in game boot..Bethesda created a lot of strife for ppl with this constant engine changes, updates 🙄

I've had this mod running for a while, recently been trying to install faster hdt-smp and when I do, I get error message when loading "...failed to dispatch message to JContainerers64...failed to dispatch API message to Jcontainers64" AND popup box saying "...hdtsmp64.dll:  disabled,, fatal error occurred while loading plugin".  If I remove mod fsmp-faster hdt-smp everything is fine.  I've been trying everything and researching for weeks(can't post anything on fsmp page).  I've tried all valid versions of jcontainers, other versions fail to load the plugin as well as the fsmp plugin.  I'm running SE 1.6.640.0.8 with skseversion 2.2.3 on my steam deck.  Does this mod(jcontainers) also load any papyrus script or anything that would cause this?  Any help/info is appreciated, I've read EVERYTHING i can find from weeks of searching, I find others posting places with same problem, but never a solution...
