Getting the same error. I changed default skyrim ini folder to the mod organizer profile folder. Now it crashes without error but event viewer shows the same error as above
Will this perform similar functions to bethini, like auto optimization? If not, is there a guide for manual optimization? I like this option for manual adjustment, but bethini did a lot of tech-magic under the hood that I do not understand and probably can not replicate especially with how much more complicated VR is.
In the Configuration Tool's settings I set "set files to Read Only" I go check the files and they are Read Only as intended. I come back later to check and they are NOT Read Only!! Why is that? Is it the mod manager I am using reverting the setting back? I use Vortex. But I specifically avoid Vortex's profile management settings that makes the settings and saves set for individual profiles just to try to avoid this problem from happening. I didn't have this problem two years ago. Only now after I got back to Skyrim VR. Before you ask, yes I clean installed the game and clean INI files under My Games\Skyrim VR, to start a new mod list. Do you have a clue to why this is happening?
*Update: I know for sure that Vortex has something to do with that. If I confirmed the action that triggers that, I'll update here. *Update 2: I know now for sure that installing mods through Vortex revert INI files to NOT Read Only. I will contact The Vortex Team and inform them of this inconvenience.
I found out that Whenever I enable or deploy mods with Vortex it always sets INI to NOT Read-Only. So, I have to manually set them to Read-Only after any time I deploy mods with Vortex.
changing bfullscreen to 1 makes it to where my game doesnt load or start. it just stays forever black. any idea as to why?? im trying to make it look better when streaming to discord
I never message on Nexus, but I figured I would respond to this since I've been sort of having the same issue and I've found somewhat of a semi fix. As for the black screen, does it happen when launching the game? If so, even when it's still black, try clicking any button on your controllers. This happens to me at random, even when fullscreen is off. The 'touch a button to start' prompt it just invisible for me sometimes. Now, if you want to be able to stream the game easier, it might help to just use Oculus's built in mirror mode that shows whatever is on your oculus on your computer screen as well. Assuming that you're using oculus of course. For me, the way to open the mirror mode is to open the .exe found here. C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics Now, it was around this time that I realized that this post was last year and you're probably not even playing the game anymore or you've already found the solution, but eh. Good luck

I would graciously appreciate any help. Over the past few months I've found your mod to be an indispensable tool.
I changed default skyrim ini folder to the mod organizer profile folder.

it just works
what more do you need? 😏
Keep your eye out for a Starfield version of this in the next month

By the way, if you want to make your new beautiful load screen's pixtures bigger, fUIMistMenu_MaxModelSize is what you need.
