Belethor has a new partner! Good ol' Todd Howard has moved into Belethor's General Goods in Whiterun and has something in stock he's sure you'll want to see!

This mod, like many a fine thing, came about as the result of a joke on Tumblr. It adds everyone's favorite executive producer as a second merchant inside Belethor's General Goods in Whiterun. What is he doing in Whiterun, you ask? Why, he's selling his best product, of course! If you indulge him, you may even get the chance to implore him for more... although I think we all know how well that usually works out.

:: REQUIREMENTS ::
• An up to date version of Skyrim Special Edition.
:: FEATURES ::
• Adds Todd as a second vendor to Belethor's General Goods in Whiterun.
• Todd will sell you The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which, when opened, will teach you the Who's Your Daddy spell, allowing you to implore Todd for more Elder Scrolls.
• Imploring Todd, aka casting the Who's Your Daddy spell, found in Conjuration, will summon Todd from whatever he was doing-- that was obviously far less important than his players-- to assuage your needy mewling with... well... another Skyrim.
• The Who's Your Daddy spell may be cast nigh unto anywhere as long as there is space for Todd to land, making him a rather handy summonable merchant.
Be forewarned, the spell is designed to summon Todd some feet away from you-- if you are in a confined space, he will try to summon as close as possible to his proper summoning point, which, depending on where you are, may end up being in some weird places. This could have unforeseen consequences. Summon responsibly.
• Todd may also act as a simple vanilla-type follower who is able to be married, be your steward, and adopt children.
• In combat, Todd acts as a spell-sword. He will use a one handed weapon and cast fire spells.
• All voice files and dialogue are vanilla assets. I have added nothing here. All humor is implied.
• Cleaned with TES5Edit
:: KNOWN ODDITIES ::
• When summoned, if you talk to Todd too quickly he may not give you the merchant dialogue option. If you close the dialogue tree and open it again, you will be able to sell to him just fine.
• Like the spouse merchants, Todd will not sell to you while he is currently a follower. You will have to dismiss him as a follower to sell to him.
• If you marry Todd, he will offer to let you move in with him. This is really just to keep up appearances and not scare away his new spouse on his wedding day. The truth is, he's squatting in the back room of Belethor's, and if you "move in with him," you won't so much as have a bed to sleep in. You knew who he was when you married him. It's a little late for regrets.
:: COMPATIBILITY ::
• To my knowledge, Todd should be compatible with just about everything. He's pretty simple and should act like any other vanilla follower.
That being said, this is my first mod, and I am an amateur. If you have trouble, please do let me know here on the nexus. I can't guarantee a high level of support, but I will try to help if I can.
:: INSTALLATION ::
Mod manager installation:
Download the 7z file and install with NMM, or other preferred mod manager. The installation was only tested with NMM, so I cannot guarantee that it will go smoothly with any other-- although again, it's a simple mod, so I don't see why it wouldn't.
Manual installation:
Extract the contents of the 7z archive. Open the ToddHoward\Data folder. Copy the contents of that folder to your game's data folder. Usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data, or thereabouts. Using your
preferred mod manager, activate the .esp by checking the box next to toddhoward.esp.
