I'd consider it broken if the conversations with NPC's are extremely dysfunctional with this mod active. Sorry, I think the concept of this mod is fantastic
agreed! love this concept to bits!! And the mod basically works! like basically , only that the exempt dialog version does not actually exclude the slow-mo effect on dialogs , and it unfortunately makes the game broken inside out unplayable with the most funny broken side effect's XD. I agree with it that it is un playable with this mod enabled for now... unfortunately.. completely breaks the dialog... Buuuut, other then that, Kudos Kudos Kudos! great mod with awesome concepts! 10/10 , over the top great feature mod! if u like to play Skyrim without dialog, then it works, i don't mean to say it in a bad or weird way, as i examine the mod, it works very smoothly on all the cases i tested it, no flaws and no other bugs except for the dialog.
well done otherwise, and hope to see more mods from ya \o/
Love the mod! I was missing SkyrimSouls Slow Motion Menu for Oldrim (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83827) so this definitely fits the bill.
Two suggestions for this mod:
1) Like SkyrimSouls Slow Motion Menu, have you thought about being able to use separate slow down percentages for each menu rather than one global slow down percentage?
2) In real life, as you get better at sports/martial arts everything tends to slow down while you're in the moment. For example, in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, when you first start, everything happens very quickly and, before you know it, you're stuck in an armbar. But, after a few weeks of training, you're able to slow down everything in your head and anticipate what's going on and avoid getting caught in holds. The same goes for sports. When you first start, everything is happening quickly around you but once you get comfortable with the game everything slows down in your head and you can see what's going on.
So I propose tying the menu slow down percentage to either your character level or your skill with your equipped weapon/spell.
If tied to your level, then at level 1 the menus, specifically the favorites, inventory, and spell menus don't slow down the game at all. As you get higher level then the menus slow down more and more.
If tied to your equipped weapon/spell, then the menu slow down percentage is tied to your skill in whatever is equipped. For example, if you have a dagger equipped and your skill level in one-handed is 15, then the menus don't slow down at all. As your skill increases in one-handed, then the menus slow down more and more.
While this works still, it should be important to note that it slows down conversation dialogue screens also, probably a oversight on the modders part as I'm sure you could tell the difference somehow.... (variant does not work for dialogue)
After more testing, sadly this causes skyrimse crashes, possibly randomly, last crash was second I opened up my quick action menu.... seems unstable and needs fixing, real damn shame too..
I disagree with mod causing Skyrim crashes globally. On your mod selection sure. For me it’s stable, no issues. Any mod can cause Skyrim issues depending on overall configuration and build.
Hey tony, great mod and thanks for your work on this.
1. I have been looking around in the Sounds .BSA file for the slow time shout and I cannot seem to find the sound effect. I'm curious if silencing that sound effect would get rid of the annoying sound that happens every time you open and close a menu.
2. I am still having issues with dialogue being slowed down, I've tried all versions of the mod with a clean save.
This mod is so close to perfect, do you have any suggestions about those two things? Thanks!
Tony, do you have a suggestion for a work around using a game pad? I love using this mod, but not enough the back button feature for barter/storing items/etc....is a real pain. Currently, I have to remove my battery cover, use the mouse to select and then reconnect my controller. A hotkey would be ideal, but I wouldn't know where to begin.
Which one is the back button, excactly? And is this back button on the controller? How would a custom key assignment help? I am assuming the key will be on the keyboard.
X-box controller is used to go back and forth between seller/buyer etc when is barter mode, but it used for sleep/wait when not so when I'm in barter mode it brings up the option to wait/sleep. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for taking the time btw to understand.
Getting ready to try this mod out as soon as Skyrim Souls is updated. Unfortunately, STEAM updated my game so I'm in limbo. With that in mind, does the main file have all menus paused? I see the option for just favorited menus which I like the idea of, but I really need my save menu paused because sometimes I have a lag in saving and death soon follows after.
I'm pretty sure you can control which menus are affected by the pause/slowdown with the .INI file that comes with SkySouls. I have it set so the main menu, console, and barter (because merchant can eventually walk away from you) set to be unaffected by SkySouls itself, so the game is paused like normal.
I missed some of the those options on the MCM - Another question. How can use the back button with bringing up the sleep/wait menu when using a game pad. I really don't use hot keys at all.

I still had the old one listed. New version will let you do what you want
I'm asking because that one still says version 1.0
(doesn't need an update)
Nice mod, I'm planning to install this on my SE modlist

What do you think?

However others have reported freezes or crashes happening when accessing inventory which is a common place for it to happen, in particular mid combat.
