Welcome to Ashdale. A small town west of Whiterun who’s founder travelled from High Rock to start a town of his own. After visiting family from Riverwood, Gauldur Tiberius fell in love with the landscape of Skyrim. He decided to stay in Skyrim and find a place to settle down. Knowing little of the civil war going on, or the laws of land ownership, he set himself up with a small area of land which he self-claimed as his own. As the story unfolds, many events are set forth which may change him, and his town.

Currently in development, we are working on the landscape and area around the town. Although the final version will not have an instant fast-travel marker, we have set one up to allow players to quickly help us locate bugs and other issues within the game. We are working to ensure the lore remains intact with this mod.

Although we have a sketch of the story we want to tell with this mod, we are not releasing details currently. As the mod continue to grow, you will see the story unfold and the journey will take shape. We believe that the story is not just about the end result of the mod, but how it unfolds during development. So, at each stage, the mod’s progression to be reflected in the lore of Ashdale.
