I just swapped all my mods from vortex to mo2 and suddenly this mod doesn't work for me anymore, had my stall up for 2 in game days and haven't sold a single thing. It worked perfectly fine before I switched over, anyone have any ideas?
Sadly this mod, after a prolonged use, just nuke saves and there's no way to fix it, not even with FallhimTools, it just crashes when loading the save.
How far were you in the game since you started using the mod? I think you get what I mean, I don't want my current saves nuked 😭 Also, did you check crash logger to verify the issues?
Just to save someone a headache, after downloading YMS all my save game files became corrupt. I hadn't even tested the mod out, but started experiencing major missing textures in the land/ground. After uninstalling however, my save files were fine again. According to another comment, I believe this mod conflicts with Campfire, which is in my LO, but I'm not sure what else this mod would conflict with. I was experiencing a lot of issues with CH as well (no dialogue options, no ride horse options) But once uninstalled, everything went back to normal.
How do you play it? I used to run this on my Skyrim before there was AE version. Now i'm trying it out on my AE game on steam v 1.6.1170, i can set up shop but nobody is buying - edit as im typing this a good ole whiterun guard walked up and offered to buy my health pot for 38 golds :D ysolda bought my milk after a few mins too.
The only gripe is npcs are rarely coming to buy stuff from me. I remember npcs buying stuff more often in my older games.
I've been using this mod in the same game for a year and I haven't had any problems, you must have had something wrong configured or you put it wrong in the load order.
is there any way the prices can be cheaped. i sell potions as im playing as a poor alchemist trying to buy a farm i have economy overhaul still working that mod ou lol im stupid the wording on some things dont make sense haha, anyways. my potion price is 32. but someone just bought it for 100, even at 10% off is there any way to get my postions to sell for 10, 20, 30 septims?
Working great so far! Just wanted to know, does reputation carry over? If I tear down shop and set up in a new city, will i still have the rep from the last city?
It's a bit of a stretch but does anyone who knows more about modding know how to go about making it so that npcs stop looking for items that you don't have in your stall? Or just remove the item preference overall?
For example, I really like using this mod after having adventured around a bit and once I've dropped off everything that can go in the LotD Museum I find a nice cozy spot in one of the cities and start to sell what is leftover. The issue is that npcs will come by (now that my speech is high enough) and look for certain things, and once I run out of those things to place in the stall it's a few minutes of waiting for a customer to come by only for them to guaranteed not buy anything bc I ran out of what they want.
I know this isn't that big of a deal but as someone that knows nothing about modding I wouldn't know the first thing about doing something about it on my own :(
Are you using Vortex? Ensure you have skse set as primary under tools in your dashboard, then run the game using that. Even still I sometimes run into that message. I quit the game and rerun it through skse, and it works for me.
You can sell all stolen stuff legally EXCEPT armors. If you really want to sell stolen armours, you can simply do the "sell to fence and buy it back" trick seems sometimes, it's more profitable to sell it to customers than to the fence themselves.
It's nice to see the npcs really put on the items they wear, but now everyone is a hoarder like me, all having their inventories full of items. This is worrisome because everything they bought are kept! I wish that someone would make a mod to get the items purchased deleted, rather than added to inventories without limit.
