    (using the 10% version)
Alright :-) This seems to work.
However, _when_ i get a level in sneaking, it also seems to add quite much to the main characterlevel.
When Sneak went from 40 to 41, the main characterlevel meter was filled almost to 8.5, from 8.0 or 8.1.
How can i make _that_ progression slower aswell?

I checked for you (the 10% file)...and sneak is set to the correct values.

Funny thing though, Lockpicking was set to 1%. I've fixed this in version 1.3 for the 10% mod file.

Also: Please make a "Unlimited Training and 0.25 Skill Usage Leveling"-version :-)

This mod makes Ordinator perks not show up if Ordinator is loaded before this one, and it looks like if I load Ordinator after - this mod (slower level) does not work anymore. Would be awesome to have a patch... :(

Same issue here. Wanted to use this mod because I was getting out of Helgen sitting at Level 10 and Two-Handed skill at 40.

In the event anyone was having an issue with skill books not giving experience nor training, if you're running the mod 'Simply Balanced' you'll want to go to the 'Experience' area and disable 'Adjust Experience Gain'.

Hi, Para. Thank you for making this mod. I enjoy slowing progression down and hate it when games give out free levels or blast thru the early stages too quickly. I was wondering though if you had any plans to make this mod compatible with Ordinator. It appears that others also may have the issue when reading below. I confess to understanding very little about modding so I rely quite heavily on people like you. I understand you probably have bigger fish to fry but was curious if this may be looked at down the road. Daredfr seemed to have a solution below but I'm afraid my pea-brain can't figure it out. Lol. Anyway, thanks again for this mod. I will probably play without ordinator in the meantime because I like the slow xp more than all the extra perk options. :-)

Oh, Daredfr wasn't actually offering a 'solution'. What he was suggesting was to just recreate my mod within Ordinator using Creation Kit.

THAT SAID, I gave Ordinator a look....and as far as I see, it should work with this mod no problem. Ordinator only seems to adjust Perks....and this mod doesn't touch the perks.

Thanks for the response, Para. It's possible there is another mod I have that is conflicting with yours (although I don't have very many.) With my xp turned down to 10% I probably won't ever be needing the amount of perks offered by Ordinator anyway, but it would still be nice to have. Maybe someone reading these posts may experience the same issue and find a solution. Thanks again!

Looks like the current file for 10% is actually 66%. I'd tried the 1%, just seemed a tad too slow for my tastes .... so went to what I thought was 10% - and WOW did it jump up quick! So .. until a fix, I guess I'll just stick with the 1%. Nice to have the options, keep up the good work!

Alright, went through them all....the only number that was a little off was actually in the 1% file (it had Skill Offset for Lockpicking at 1 instead of .1.....but since offset is an additive bonus = nobody would ever notice a difference)

So, either A) the fast leveling you experienced for the 10% was some sort of weird mod conflict or something else wonky.....or B) it leveled normally, but just seemed faster than you expected (perception vs reality).....remember that 10% still allows fairly quick leveling of low value skills....like blocking hard hits will still level Block quickly, but once you get around 25skill = even blocking hard strikes will take a long time to level you up.

      Have fun! :)

Hmmm .... When you click the view files, it still shows 66% for the 10%. Is that just a typo?

Turns out that Nexus was having some kind of issue keeping track of 5 files with the same name.....never seen this problem before. I tried fixing one file/description, and another would glitch =?!?

I renamed the files and re-uploaded them. Nexus seems to have no trouble now.

Again, thanks for taking the time to point this issue out. I wouldn't have known otherwise.

oh man, so close to being just what i needed, was hoping to find a version that let me train unlimited times but did not allow me to level naturally (so the only way for me to improve is by paying others to train me). i will come back tomorrow if i decide to go for it and test compatibility with skyrim uncapper, was hoping to drop that in favor of this for a lets play. will endorse if i decide to go for this, looks great by all means

The Unlimited Training + 0% Skill Usage Leveling IS what you are looking for. This file means you can only level from quest rewards, books and training.

There are 5 files to choose from, pick the 0% leveling one.

Can you also make it 1/2 vanilla speed and 2/3 vanilla speeds?

    Thanks

      .....Seriously?!??

You ask me to do a bunch of extra work for you.....but then don't even take the 5 seconds to leave me an Endorsement!?!?!?! What the hell, man?

THIS is why I'm considering just using my mods/updates for myself...people LOVE them, but cant' be bothered to say thank you by leaving an Endorsement! It takes 5 seconds and is free!

Sigh, maybe I was a bit touchy about you asking for extra stuff and having not left an Endorsement....

Tell you what, let me know when you leave an Endorsement, and I'll do the work for you. 50% and 66.6% is what you wanted, right?

In the description on the download page, you have it as 1/3 the vanilla rate instead of 2/3.

First off; Endorsed because this is exceptional so good on you para :)

Secondly, while I have quite the modded SSE, it seems this mod replaces perk trees w/their vanilla counterparts and is, at the moment; incompatible with Ordinator (or at least in part as my speech tree was still the Ordinator version but every other skill was set to the vanilla ones, disabling this mod restored the full Ordinator versions of said perk trees.)

I don't know if it's a fix that can be easily made for compatibility w/Ordinator or not (nor do I know if it's a fix that can be made at all, I assume it could be simply vanilla files included w/this mod overwriting Ordinator in my LO but that's just my best guess.) Anyways, I hope this can play nice w/Ordinator in the future as I have loved the last few hours leveling @ the 1% speed in opposed to the normal 'go smith things for an hour and become a God' that is the norm w/most new characters.

Thank you for the Endorsement...sniff sniff :)

As far as this mod replacing the perk trees....it shouldn't. It doesn't touch the perk trees. The changes are in the gameplay and actor values only.

SOOO, unless you have mods that change those values (like how much you can train per day or how fast your skills level), you can put this mod VERY HIGH in your mod load order. This way, all your other mods will load last = no skill perk changes to worry about.

Also, agreed that by limiting the skill usage to 1%, the game becomes FAR more about exploring and quests, and FAR LESS about grinding skills! Much more fun this way!

*IF you are still having trouble, then open the creation kit for Skyrim Special Edition....load ANY of your mods that you know work (and closest to the bottom of your load order the better). Go to 'Character' at the top of the CK menu. Click it, then select actor values. Now go down the list, and at every skill, change the SkillUseMult # to whatever you want. So, for example, if OneHanded is at 2, and you want 50% leveling speed, you would change that number to a '1'.

      Have fun adventuring!

It may very well be just my over-modded-to-all-hell install deciding to randomly cause the Ordinator perks to revert to vanilla, but for whatever reason, disabling this fixes it so IDK lol. That said, I just might have to take your advice on the CK route when time allows (it's been quite some time since I last delved into the CK so your quick rundown helps navigating to the wheres and whats :) - last time I was in the CK was for Fallout NV and Oldrim a couple years back so yeah, out of practice - )

Anywho, thanks for the quick reply and best of luck to you and your modding; keep up the great work!

      Hello,
Actually ascars is right, it's not compatible with ordinator. You have to manually create a patch in tesedit. It's easy and fast. just copy the ordinator parameters but put paradox value to it (for instance : avonehanded in actor value information, put 3.15 for 50% instead of 6.30 in skillusemult) You have 18 skills to change.

    Hi,

Been looking for just these changes. Endorsed.

Unfortunately I can't use it yet because I am getting a CTD. I've opened a bug ticket.

Thank you for the Endorsement! It really helps motivate me when people leave them for my work.

EDIT: I found the problem. The name I gave the file was causing a problem with the game loading it...the mod was fine, but the name for it was not lol.

New v1.1 files are now available with fixed names.

*as a little side note, when someone leaves an Endorsement, do you see how much more motivated I am to help them solve any issues? Endorsements do mean something for modders!
