For those who would like a bit more information about installation:

-Any AOS or SoS patches that you were previously using for either True Storms, Rustic Weathers, or both can be safely replaced by the patches provided here, including my standalone True Storms + Wet&Cold patch. This patch was created to completely merge both mods into one experience, so you can basically think of it as its own weather mod in need of its own patches.
-You only need to have ONE of the available four versions loaded, meaning that you should not have both the main version and its respective Water Fix version loaded at the same time, just choose one or the other. The only real difference between these two versions is the fog levels, so if you like having lots of fog in all of your weathers, just stick to the main version. If you would like to tone down the fog levels in your weathers and you are bothered by the blocky water edges that are shown in the screenshots, then I would definitely recommend using the Water Fix version.

    Hope that helps! :)

*ALSO* Please do remember that there is a bug section. It is 1,000 times easier for authors to fix and keep track of bugs and glitches when you post them in the bug report section rather than in the comments, so if you find any strange visual glitches or places where the mod isn't working, please post it there instead of in the comments :) It would be greatly appreciated. If you do, please remember to mention what setup you have, which version you are using, and if you are using an ENB. I will continue to try and monitor both the bug section and the comments, but as I release more and more patches it gets hard for me to do so. If I don't get around to answering a bug-related comment, please try posting it in the bug section instead. Thank you!

Up to date for these versions of all related mods:

True Storms SSE - V1.01 **Most likely will not update again anytime soon.
Rustic Weathers and Lighting - V33
    Audio Overhaul SSE - V3.0.0
Sounds of Skyrim Complete SE - V1.6

**I do plan on keeping my patches up to date with the latest versions, but as I have quite a few to manage at this point, I would greatly appreciate any friendly reminders if it seems as though I missed an update :)

**NOTE** In updating to the new V2:

For the sake of organization and my sanity I've moved all of the Wet and Cold compatibility options from all of my different patches onto their own page. They are still the exact same plugins, I just needed to make it easier to keep track of them for maintenance purposes, and I also didn't want to make you guys redownload such a small plugin every time I made an update to this patch. All you will need to do is redownload the plugin from the new page and use it as a standalone :) Sorry for the confusion!

    hi!
is this still being maintained  in 2022?
I just found  TrueStorms and want to use it with rustic weathers. Not running ENBS so I hope these two will play well together. I also have AOS installed too.

Hi, if I install this, should I remove the Rustic Weathers - Sounds of Skyrim patch from the Rustic Weathers page? Or do I need both? Thanks!

I unticked "True Storms Patch" during the installation of "Sounds of Skyrim", and use the patches from this mod instead. My mod manager is happy now.

    Hmmm.... LOOT auto-sorts it:
    - True Storms
    - Rustic Weathers
    - Rustic Weathers - TrueStorms patch (this one)

    while author says:
    - Rustic Weathers
    - True Storms
    - Rustic Weathers - TrueStorms patch (this one)

Has anybody noticed whether sort order of TS and RW actually mattered? I hand-sorted it acc. to author now, will observe.

It honestly shouldn't matter, I posted the suggested load order mostly for consistency's sake with the plugin's masters. The only thing that it might have any effect on is the rain particles, aka it will use the particles of whichever mod loads last. Certainly no stability issues or anything like that though :) Thanks for the good question!

Could you make a version for the modular Rustic rain mod?

Hello, any chance you could flag your patches with an ESL on the next round of updates?

    Thanks

The Rustic Weathers page says that this patch needs to be loaded *before* True Storms. Yet your description says it needs to be loaded *after* True Storms. Which is it?

This patch is only a few hours old. Rustic Weathers hasnt been updated in a long time. I also just checked the page for Rustic Weathers and didn't even see any mention of True Storms at all, but even if it did, it wouldn't be referring to this patch just because this patch was literally just made.

Go with what this description says.

Go to Rustic Weathers and press requirements and read the text under "notes." It lists this patch. The Rustic Weather author and the author of this patch have arranged this before it got uploaded most likely. The problem is that the Rustic Weathers author states that to "Make sure to load this before True Storms" (in regards to this patch). While this author states it should be loaded *after* True Storms. There's some miscommunication here.

Actually, me and omega did not coordinate there, he updated his description on his own initiative :) There was just a bit of of a misread I think is all. This patch requires both Rustic Weathers and True Storms as masters, so you absolutely have to load it after both. In fact, if you are using NMM, it shouldn't even let you load this before True Storms, as patches always need to be loaded after the mods they are patching. Sorry for the confusion there!

No problem! I'm happy that I could spiff up your load order :) Enjoy!
