    ROUND 1 FIGHT!

    4.1 is a very minor update to make peoples lives easier when using Hunters Not Bandits and Brawl Lines Expansion in the same mod list.
    Since Jay added my conditions to the dialogue lines which they share, I returned the favor and added his since they don't require BLE as a master. The end result is that it doesn't matter in which order the two mods are placed, because they now don't conflict.

    TLDR
    IT JUST WORKS!

    The first time I got the "Those are College of Winterhold robes, aren't they?" line in that jolly Altmer voice right before the Psijic scene I nearly spit out my drink. I'm not sure I actually want it fixed. 😂

    In all seriousness, thank you so much for this mod and for continuing to support it, it's been in my LO for years

    Anyone know of any mods that do the opposite? As in, enemies that kill you will either comment on the way you died or let the others know they killed the threat. That'd be pretty immersive. Would need a bit of VA as I imagine there's not much usable dialogue for that. This mod is great btw.

      Not exactly that but Jay Serpa's dialogue mods expand the lines that a lot of the generic voice types can say. Worth a look if you're not already using them.

      Nope, I'm currenly using AI Overhaul and so far it doesn't touch any of the lines. So you're good.

    Could this be responsible for bandits now drawing weapons and silently watching me when I enter warning range, where they used to taunt me repeatedly? Could it be because... I have always been... a bunny?

      Hello dear Bunny,

      RUN WHILE YOU CAN! In all honesty it should not be responsible for this. It checks for if the target is dead or is an animal on a lot of specific dialogues. Btw you're not a dragon priest bunny by any chance? No? My gut feeling is that you're running some kind of mod which improves their detection so you're now in their warn range but them not taunting you, nope unless you are dead or a bunny.

      Good luck on your quest in tracking down the cause, if you find what's causing it you're free to let me know as it seems kinda interesting.

      After another session with the same deployment, the same bandits taunted me like they used to. I guess it was a hiccup coinciding with my addition of HNB, not my hoppy disposition. Thanks for the quick and thorough response!

    Congratulations Raccy for keeping this gem up to date after all these years.
    Dedication, and also, how exemplary you are towards the community with your very helpful answers. Not always easy nowadays to find such a civilized and awesome reading in the comments

    What seemed simple when it came out, proved to have some conflicts sometimes with other mods, needing some refinements, and you just managed it all like a pro.

    ...not to mention your legendary humour (no need for a Humour SE, original flavour is already perfect ) and fun spirit, that GIF of the Raccoon made also my day

    nice video with the racoon.  It brings back some fond memories of my own.  They can be awesome pets.  We had ours for three years before his hormones got the best of him and he returned to the wild.  He would visit from time to time, and sometimes he brought the whole damned family. LOL

    Thanks for this mod by the way.  I've used it since the beginning.

    For those using USMP (which incorporates this mod) I checked the latest versions and it looks like the USMP is still valid with this latest update. The only minor changes I see is in some punctuation and there are "random" conditions added to 7 records in USMP, none of which really needs an update.

      You just found the "very minor fixes to a few dialogue flags." I reverted them back to vanilla as they were my own wild edits. Please respect that I don't want to spend time doing support for USMP when it's my own mod conflicting with an older version of my own mod. I was part of the team which originally created USMP for LE, which is why Plague was originally given the permission to use HNB for USMP. Always let Hunters Not Bandits overwrite USMP, it's just overwriting an older version of it self within USMP.

      All USMP related support stays on the USMP page or else it will confuse the living daylights out of people in here who don't use it.
