About this mod

This mod allows you to store dead bodies in scrolls for use whenever you feel like it (for necromancer roleplay purposes). It is based on Fantafaust mod called "Collect Bodies and Bear Traps" mod. All credit goes to him (leave an endorsement on his mod, he is the one that truly deserves it).

1. What does the mod add?
=====================================================================
This mod is mostly based on Fantafaust's mod called Collect Bodies and Bear Traps. All credit goes to him, so make sure to endorse him when you have the chance. He was also kind enough to allow people to use his work for their own reasons. The goal of this mod is to enable a more necromancer-like roleplay.

The mod works very similarly to the one it is based on with a few differences:
  • All bodies are stored on scrolls (weight of 0.5).
  • A summoning effect when storing the body on the scroll was added.
  • You will need a Storing Bodies Kit in order to be able to store bodies in scroll (it is an item that just has to stay in your inventory and you don't have to buy more than one).
  • The maximum bodies that you can store in scrolls is 50.

How do I get the option to store a body?
There are two conditions that must be met:
  • You must be crouched.
  • You must have a Storing Bodies Kit in your inventory.

Where can I find the Storing Bodies Kit?
The item was implemented in a way as to copy how other miscellaneous items appear within the game. This means that you can find the item being sold by General Goods Merchants.
Just like with all the miscellaneous items, this item does not have a 100% chance of being for sale. Either you: (i) wait for the vendor's inventory to reset, (ii) go to another General Goods merchant, or (iii) add the item through console (just type help kit and then player.additem ITEMID 1).

Since this involved editing a levelled item list, do not forget to update your Bash Patch (check here how to do that). If you don't have a Bash Patch, you should probably learn about it since it is important (simple reason why here)

3. Installation
=====================================================================
FIRST METHOD: NMM/Other Mod Manager (Recommended)
1. Download and install with the Nexus Mod Manager, simple and clean.
2. Use LOOT to automatically sort your load order after installation is complete. If you're using NMM then close it and run LOOT, this will ensure your game works properly.

SECOND METHOD: Manual (Not Recommended)
1. Download the file manually.
2. Extract the contents of the mod's zip file to "Data" folder inside Skyrim's folder.
3. Activate the mod in Skyrim.

4. Uninstallation
=====================================================================
Make sure that you don't have the "Storing Bodies Kit" in your inventory (or any of the scrolls). Afterwards, simply remove the mod (or the .esp and the .bsa and .bsl files if you did a manual installation).

5. Known Issues
=====================================================================
Characters that respawn might not be properly summoned when you stored them on a previous session (that is, when you load the save game in which you had stored the body). It will work properly during the session in which you stored the body though.
