Backup Movement Speed Reduction

Description

Reduces humanoid movement speed by 50% - 75% when backing up (walking or running backwards). This affects the player and all NPC actors; monsters and animals are unaffected. This is a simple mod that is compatible with nearly everything but will change the way you approach combat! No more backpedaling your way to victory which is unrealistic and not lore friendly!

This mod is script free, light, and touches no leveled lists or NPC records. It is unaffected by bashed patches, TES5Edit patches, and other compatibility patches.  No DLCs are required but the mod will affect all humanoid DLC actors as well as vanilla.  Forward, left, and right movement speeds were untouched and left at default.

I looked everywhere for a mod that would do this and couldn't find any so I wrote this mod. Most movement mods only affect the player; this one is different as it affects both the player and all humanoid actors. Realistic backup movement speed is now in your hands!

Compatibility

This is a simple and light-weight mod. It should be compatible with nearly everything. There are only two mods that I could find that even touch humanoid movement speeds and so this should be compatible with everything except mods that edit the same thing.  This mod should be fully compatible with all animation mods (no animations were added or modified).
