    Hey guys,
I would really appreciate your feedback, so don't hesitate to leave a comment. If the mod doesn't work for most of you, I need to know so I can remove it, because nobody wants to download not-fully-working mod (I know I don't).

Thank you for all your support!

    Hello dailyplanet
Your mod works flawlessly and the textures look nice.
Sorry for the bad English, it could be the translator.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem. This is only applying to flawless gems for me and the flawed gems seem to be using CCOR textures and meshes even though I am prioritising this mod and there are no file conflicts. Does anyone have any idea?

    Fantastic mod, by the way.

Have you tried installing the mod manually? To do that, download the files and place "meshes" and 'textures" folders inside your Data folder, overwrite everything if asked. My guess is that the other mod has it's own meshes and/or textures for gems, and they cause conflict with this mod.

      I hope that helps!

It's because CCOR changes the vanilla model being used in its plugin.  It would need a patch that reverts the models back to vanilla and carries the other CCOR changes forward.

Have you thought about doing a ''Pretty Stones of Barenziah'' standalone mod or addon to this?

I have a break from modding at the moment, but I may look into it in the future.

Take your time. As a modder myself, doing much easier stuff than these beautiful textures and meshes that you made - burned me out and I need to take breaks from modding.

Thanks for still checking the comments for these every now and then.

Btw, I found a mod which could be something you are looking for. It's called Barenziah's Glory (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6343/) and it looks like something I would do with the stones.

I've noticed the regular garnet jitters, and it's not a havok settling problem cause other gemstones next them didn't, and I tried repositioning. Otherwise everything seems good

Interestingly, garnet is the only gemstone which has vanilla model. The only thing I did was tweaking Lighting Shader Properties for these two models.

I am not a gems expert at all, but somehow i feel like they should be less transparent. Or let's say that of course diamonds and similar should be more transparent than the rest. For some reason they all (vanilla or not) looks like colored glass.
That said, i like the mod since i have always felt vanilla gems looks like sugar candies... Endorsed!

It's just a retexure, no esp is needed.

I'd also previously self-ported the Oldrim version using NIF Optimizer. I switched out my version to your official port and haven't had any issues. I can see how some might find the gems a tad on the dark side, but that probably also depends on lighting. In my case I'm running no ENB, just Obsidian Weathers with the fantasy filter enabled.

Awesome I was hoping you would port this over to SSE thank you!!! The vanilla model file seem to be fine in my game but the main file gives different results. The gems seem very dark using the main file both in exterior and interior areas. Also both garnet models have a weird flicker I think it is something to do with the nif. I tried to fix this in Nifskope when I ported the Oldrim version once before and was unable to solve it. I thought it especially strange that only the garnet flickered.

You mean the SSE version is dark, or the Oldrim version is SSE is dark? Because now I'm confused

The SSE version is dark for me. I might just use the Oldrim version without optimizing the nifs. i turned off ELFX and no change. Maybe it has something to do with my ENB I am running the latest version of Skyrim Re-Engaged with the latest binaries :/
