- -Complete rework of the training golem in the Hall of the Elements. No longer a fake NPC. This should fix a lot of issues he could potentially cause. Downside is that only base-game spells will give XP without a patch. Upside is that he can stay throughout the entire questline, so no more disabling him while the Eye is present.
Spells that give XP when cast on him:
~All projecticle Destruction spells (e.g. Flames, Thunder, Ice Spike, etc.)
~All projectile Restoration spells (e.g. Repel Lesser Undead, Turn Undead, etc.)
~All projectile Conjuration spells (e.g. Raise Zombie, Soul Trap, etc.)
~Paralyze, Ash Shell (Not a lot of targeted Alteration spells in the game sadly. Fortunately this is the easiest school to level really.)
~All projectile Illusion spells (e.g. Rally, Fear, Fury, etc) - -Fonts of Pure Magicka reworked. No longer unlimited mana buttons. Instead gives a magicka and magicka regen boost for a few minutes. Intended to make practicing a bit easier at low levels. Also doesn't get packed away when the Eye is present.
- -Couple notes reworded.
- -Few decorations removed. A few decorations added. A few decorations modified. The vague trifecta!
- -Fixed frost spider scroll crafting amount.

- - No Dragonborn Crafting Version discontinued. I've instead added activate-ables to the Archmage Quarters that will hide or show the crafting stations (in the same manner of the courtyard barrier). There can be a bit of a delay after activation before they are dismissed or shown.
- - IF YOU USED THE "NO DRAGONBORN CRAFTING STATIONS" VERSION: Don't worry, your stored items will be fine! Apologies for doing it this way, but removing the stations was getting to be a pain. This way, both groups get what they want and I don't have to maintain both versions. :)

- I made the mistake of using the base game containers. Since other mods (the Unofficial Patch, for starters) can edit these containers, and make them respawnable, they could be unsafe to store things in. I've now made them "custom" containers, so no other mod can edit them. Unfortunately, you'll need to remove your items from them before you update. I apologize for the trouble!
- -Added a new "Archmage Studies" boost that can be acquired at the top of the Archmage's tower from the Astrolab.
- -Removed the bird nest from the tree in the courtyard for compatibility with any tree overhaul mods.
- -Changed the message that's displayed when you get the "study" boosts to be more clear on what they are.

- Happy New Year! Small update for you guys. I'm rounding it up to 5.0 mostly just for OCD's sake.
Arcanaeum changes:
- More bookshelves! Gives the Arcanaeum a grander feel.
- XP boost tomes along the edges of the room are easier to activate. (Gave them each their own shelf.)
- XP boost raised to 20%.
- New candles.
- Decor changes. (Removed some stuff, added some stuff, nothing fancy but nicer overall in my opinion.)
Archmage Quarters:
- Small bookshelf for the Archmages favorite books to be on display.
- Better desks for the crafting stations. Drawers for storage.
- Planter soil made slightly larger and tilted the planters a bit more to make planting a little easier to access.
- New candles.
- Enabled the little effect on the schools of magic plaque behind the Archmage bed. Show off your favorite school! Just for fun.
- Decor changes. (Misc little fixes.)
Overall:
- Few bug fixes. (Magic effects, statics, etc.)
- Few smaller decor changes in the dorms.

This will disable MY lighting, and let ELFX/RS/RLO take over. Honestly I don't recommend this, as ELFX in particular adds light statics (candles, etc) around the College. Some of them will clip into furniture I've placed. Again though, up to you guys!

- The roof of the Archmage Quarters has been spruced up a bit. It's intended to be a sort of astrolab for the Archmage. Purely aesthetic for now.
- The last spot of the bridge has been patched.
- Couple misc decor changes. (Literally things with no point in listing, like rotating certain items a bit more, changing a visual effect slightly, moving an object a tad, etc.)

- I got a chance to put out my update! Still moving, but have internet for the week. :D
New:
- Spider Scroll crafting station: Located in the Archmage's Quarters. Players of the Dragonborn DLC will recognize this, however it's a little different. The crafting station is standalone, and has no effect on the Spider crafting from Dragonborn. The reason for this is: easier crafting materials. The Spiders are a lot of fun, but not viable for folks who want to use them heavily.
~~~ Spiders require a base Spider Egg, rather than the rare Albino Pods.
~~~ Spiders are crafted with the base crafting mechanics instead of the imbuing chamber (If you want to know why this way and not the imbuing chamber, shoot me a PM)
~~~ Spiders previously in-game but not craftable are now craftable: Pack Spider & Glowing Spider.
New:
- Enchanted Mannequin: Located in the Hall of the Elements. This guy is used for practicing (read: leveling) your offensive magic! Upon being attacked, he will assume a battle stance, but he will not retaliate. Feel free to burn/shock/freeze him until your fingers explode.
~~~ I recommend you DO NOT engage him with a follower, as it might be a pain to get them to stop practicing. Darn those overachievers!
Changed:
- The planters in the Archmage Quarter have been tilted ever so slightly for easier planting and access.
- Some navmesh cuts have been added for easier NPC pathing.

The College is going to look a bit different to you in this update. I've gotten very worn out of remaking the base file for every update to accommodate ELFX. Because of this, the ELFX patch ESP now disables all of ELFX's changes in favor of my own personal lighting.
The Enhancer and Hardcore will still make the overall lighting darker, as usual. I carried over ELFX's imagespace changes for those.
I hope you guys don't mind too much. I prefer my own lighting for the College myself, but use ELFX for everything else. - :: Re-uploaded the file to change "No Staff Enchanter" version to "No Dragonborn Crafting" version that removes the Spider Scroll station for folks who don't want it along with the Staff Enchanter. ::

- New Scrollcrafting station located in Arcanaeum: Use a spell tome to craft a few scroll versions of that spell. The tome is destroyed in the process.
Also at this station, you can craft study notes if you have recently read one of the Study Tomes. Crafting these takes 1 Roll of Paper.
~The notes themselves increase your spells from the active schools of magic by 20% for 1 minute. It pays to study, so brush up on those notes before a tough battle! Beware, however, they will overwrite the 10% bonus for one hour from the large Study Tomes.
New Ruined Tome recycling also located in Arcanaeum: Break down ruined tomes into Rolls of Paper.
New tomes to increase experience gained by the individual schools of magic on the bookshelves in the Arcanaeum. The increase is a temporary 10%. You may only have ONE experience buff at a time, but you may have an experience buff and study buff at the same time.
New custom alchemy crafting station: Look for the large cauldron in the Arcanaeum. Just a nifty alternative for crafting your potions if you're tired of the mortar and pestle animation.
Courtyard has been spruced up a bit more, with a small decoration and lights on each courtyard table.
New misc items and books to give more clutter without it being just a loot fest.
Tweaked or added decor to every cell.
Some navmesh and navcut tweaks.

Okay, don't get too excited. I didn't want to get crazy with it because of the aforementioned script/quest heavy area. But I did spruce it up a little.

:: Magicka potions are common here, as you could always use a quick fix when practicing your spells
:: Font of Pure Magicka - A relic from the past. This is a font that will restore ALL of your Magicka on the spot. Activate it and keep on casting those spells! Now I know what you're thinking, and NO, you CANNOT use it during the fight with Ancano, as it's disabled during that quest. Sorry! But otherwise, it's just a fun addition that will give the Hall of the Elements its true purpose back: To practice your magic without hindrance.

+Removed the hanging clothes in favor of havok-safe, nicely laid out clothes for folks on less powerful machines that can't load the cells quickly enough for the script to fire.

If you are storing things in the cabinet below the previously mention clothes rack: REMOVE IT BEFORE UPDATING! THAT CABINET IS GONE! Hell, I say remove all your items before updating just to be safe. Skyrim is a fickle mistress. Rather be inconvenienced than lose important stuff!

+To make up for this inconvenience, I've made the lectern books in the Arcanaeum give a "study" buff to their respective schools of magic.

Cleaned up various Navmesh spots.
Added a few details to the courtyard and Archmage garden.
Added a weapon rack stand to the foot of the Archmage Bed for those who previously used the vanilla long chest to store their staves.
Added the bed/enchanting dust/archmage couch texture as a seperate texture file to ensure compatibility with folks who use a replacer for banners.
- Fixed the Archmage Quarter fast travel point on the roof to correctly require it be discovered first.

- In pushing towards a (real this time) final release:
Cleaned up all the unused statics from the .esp since real clutter is now being used. Don't want unused assets lingering and taking up space.
Fixed the text on the enchanting dust and sealed scroll clutter. The scrolls were intended to be "Blank Scrolls", and the effect for the dust was displaying wrong.
Removed a couple lingering statics.

Changed the Archmage's Quarters garden into personal (Hearthfire) planters. (I intended this from the start, and completely forgot.)
Resized the storage boxes for the alchemy ingredients to limit how badly they havok out when you take one.
Added a few last minute misc decorations.

Swapped out the wrong boots placed in the dorms.
Since I was already in there, took the opportunity to:
-Add a shelf to the kitchen areas.
-Spruce up the Hall of Countenance enchanting room a little more.
-Fix what I hope is the final items that weren't marked with owners.
As always: To be on the safe side, remove your items from the safe storage before updating! Should be okay as I had no issues, but I'm the cautious type.

Clothes/staves are back and non-static! Thanks to YsCordelan on reddit, the defaultdisablehavok script seems to work perfectly!
Added a few more details to the courtyard.
With a fine tooth comb, fixed every issue I could find!

- I like to think of this as the "Polishing Patch".
Misc fixes such as:
Tablecloth not properly aligned.
Potions that popped out of their crate once havok was enabled.
Items not being marked as owned by their respective NPCs
Stone tablet on the Arcanaeum ceiling not centered.
Just general cleaning as I feel that the mod is in a good place to call it finished soon.

- Made the staves in the Archmage Quarters, and the clothes hanging on the racks back into statics. There are now staves stored in one of the chests near the Staff Enchanter. I hate to have to do it this way, but it's the only way to get the look I want and not have the physics engine destroy it.
Fixed the food storage container in the Archmage's Quarters. Store your foodstuff close by!

- Added a fast travel marker (must be discovered) on the very top of the college. The Archmage Quarters have a door that leads there.
- Added lootable soul gems to the Arcanaeum. Filled ones are in the soul gem holders in front of the window. Empty ones are in the crate next to the station. Alchemy ingredients are already harvestable from the garden outside, and the Archmage's Quarters.
- You are now able to take books from the bookcases in the Arcanaeum, as well as 2 new ones in the Archmage Quarters. DON'T store anything outside of the player room and the Archmage Quarters.
- Made some changes to the Archmage Quarters overall.

There's nordic clutter, cobwebs, barrels, hay. Is this a magical institute or a barn?
Are those animal heads on the wall? And what's with the fur rugs?
The place should be enchanted to be warm! Why have dirty old pelts all over the floor?
The whole place says NORDS! I want it to say MAGIC!

This is an overhaul aimed at giving the College a professional, simple and enchanted look!
