This workaround consists of three scripts for use in the console. Their purpose is to help a player get past the point in the Nightengales storyline where Karliah leaves the Twilight Sepulcher rather than pull the chain to the inner sanctum.

Installation
Extract the files in the archive into your Skyrim or Skyrim Special Edition folder.
Instructions
This workaround consists of three scripts for use in the console. Their purpose is to help a player get past the point in the Nightengales storyline where Karliah leaves the Twilight Sepulcher rather than pull the chain to the inner sanctum. When this happens, do the following:
1. Go to the pull chain and target it
2. Open the console by pressing '
3. Type "bat PullChainAsKarliah"
4. Close the console by pressing `
This will activate the pull chain as if you were Karliah. The next optional step is to summon Karliah to your location by:
5. Open the console by pressing '
6. Type "bat SummonKarliah"
7. Close the console by pressing `
Optionally, you could continue letting her walk away while you advance to the next scene. Either way, the next command will make her enter the sanctum.
8. Open the console by pressing '
9. Type "bat NextNightengaleScene"
10. Close the console by pressing `
