For example, Proventus has dialogue branch " I'd like to purchase a homestead outside of the city. (<Global=ccEEJ001HP> gold) " where ccEEJ001HP is the global that controls the price of the homestead. Many price overhauls changes such globals to achieve their effect but the dialogue texts still stay the same if you install them halfway. That's because the text is fixed when its first created, which is basically the start of a new save. But with this you can simply refresh the texts to avoid needing to start a new game.
author ps: I personally use Immersive Realistic Prices and used this to correct all the dialogue gold value (house price, inn price, hireling price...)
