Such a shame this doesn't work with CC Survival mode or Frostfall.

Im using Suvival mode CC (prefer the more streamlined design choice compared to frostfall) and I had to give this a download to see if it worked but sadly not. It fits in with a survival skyrim so well. I left a dungeon with an unlit campfire outside and my character was freezing, had a torch in my hand and wanted to heat myself up next to the fire.

Mod works great as intended but it would be great if the fires gave off warmth once lit.

This is a seriously under appreciated mod, I can't play without it.

To clarify those two Frostfall/Campfire-related points that I've seen brought up here:

-Relit campfires do not give warmth for Frostfall
-You cannot relight Campfire-mod campfires with this, you still need to go through the Campfire UI

This mod is still great for flavor/immersion even without that function, but if anyone ends up making a patch to make it enhance Frostfall as well, it would be incredible.

Yeah - it just kinda sux when, for example, you are dying of exposure and discover an unlit campfire, manage to light it and then freeze to death standing next to it ;-) Love the idea of this mod and wish I was savvy enough to make a patch.

Can we be honest with ourselves for a second?
Unless being cold makes your magic less potent... or unless your magic doesn't regenerate in your game...
then no mage should ever freeze to death if they have flame spells. They should be able to just warm themselves up automatically.
So if you want a patch, make it as easy as this: all cold effects removed once you learn a flame spell. That's realism.

@maroklay I disagree. It should also be when casting a spell, really, and probably quite a weak effect as you as propelling the fire away from you. Also, spells like firebolt move away from you really quickly.

Also, everyone starts with a fire spell so that essentially removes all frostfall features.

    Not compatible with Embers HD.

Just putting it out there, I realize you're not the author.

      why not?
i ques some of them may light fires too like if u use water spell it may think that its fire and work the same way because im not sure but i think that those stream spells use same assets as fire/freeze spells

Cool that this one made it to Skyrim SE. Still remember porting this from LE to SE.
