Some more long-unreleased bits and pieces of some Forsworn stuff I'd been sitting on for a while. This one, in particular, deserved to see the light of day, or at least the light of a computer screen on nexusmods.com.

Broken Tower Redoubt feels too small considering its history in the lore. Originally established in the Second Era as Karthwatch, it was then the capital of Karthald Hold and served to defend Skyrim's borders from the contemporary Kingdom of the Reach.
Karthwatch was eventually overrun by the Reachmen, but was also reestablished as Snowhawk during the Third Era. Snowhawk became one of the largest cities in western Skyrim, though it fell into ruin during the War of the Bend'r-mahk (shortly following the Imperial Simulacrum) when a Redguard-Orcish army used a magical attack to cause every stone structure in the city to disappear. Fort Snowhawk, east of Morthal, was built and named after the historic city early in the Fourth Era.
In addition, the Empire constructed yet another fortification on the old grounds, aiming to keep its control over one of the only major roads in and out of the Reach. Ironically, its history seems to have repeated itself, with the Forsworn keeping control of the fort even after Madanach's new Kingdom of the Reach was overthrown by Ulfric Stormcloak and his army. There is a considerable number of the Reachman fighters keeping watch over the main road, though in their arrogance they often underestimate any outsiders' potential knowledge of the many winding paths lining the Reach's hills...

Having the legacy of a hold capital and a once-great city under its belt, I enlarged Broken Tower Redoubt to be more comparable to the larger forts in Skyrim. New walls and towers were added around the main fort, as well as a new interior cell going through the new walls and towers and connecting back to the main area, and the area has been renamed to Karthwatch (since there's already a Fort Snowhawk).
I might post one or two more location reworks in the future. While Karthwatch is the most expansive one by far, there's also a smaller buildup of Deep Folk Crossing.

This works well with Ryn's Broken Tower Redoubt right out of the box, with a patch needed only to combine the navmeshes. There's also a patch for Lawbringer - Guardsman as well as its Broken Tower Redoubt Redone add-on (with or without the actual Lawbringer functionality). All patches are ESL-flagged.
