Skyrim VR is for me all about immersion. So far it always felt strange running full-speed through knee-deep water. Try doing this in real life and take a video to share it please :-)
So I tried to find a mod to slow down movement speed in water and came up with this, which feels very good to me.
There are several Wade in Water mods around but none worked for VR except TDG's Wade In Water - Enhanced Edition.
But this mod does not work in conjunction with any other water mod. And who would like to play with Vanilla water?
So I changed this mod and built a Synthesis Patcher to make it work with any water mod.
This here works also for non VR users, but there are simpler alternatives around. So I would recommend this mod primarily to SkyrimVR users.
Please carefully read the installation instructions:
1. Install this mod like any other mod
2. Install Synthesis. If you install this first time, please carefully read through the documentation. Saves lots of troubles.
3. Run Synthesis, add the patcher by selecting 'Git repository' and then search for my 'WadeInWater' patcher
4. Synthesis creates a Synthesis.esp in your Overwrite folder. Activate this mod very much at the end of your plugin list
