About this mod

Diversifies enchanting tables using Base Object Swapper with options for keeping or removing the original skull table.

It always felt a little odd to me that every single enchanting table in Skyrim has a skull on it, no matter where it was located. Dungeon? Skull. Jarl's hall? Skull. Player home? Skull. So I've added a little simple clutter and a bit fewer skulls to mix it up a bit. Includes a replacer for the enchanting table loading screen model to match.

What This Mod Does
Uses Base Object Swapper to diversify enchanting tables in a simple way. Options included:

  • No Skull Table, Remix - Removes skull tables entirely, using only diversified enchanting tables. Diversified tables remix every time you load the game session, as if people are picking up clutter and putting down new stuff.
  • No Skull Table, Static - Removes skull tables entirely, using only diversified enchanting tables. Tables randomize only once and stick for the rest of the playthrough.
  • Evil Skull Table, Remix - Skull tables only appear in evil places, diversified enchanting tables appear everywhere else. Diversified tables remix every time you load the game session, as if people are picking up clutter and putting down new stuff.
  • Evil Skull Table, Static - Skull tables only appear in evil places, diversified enchanting tables appear everywhere else. Tables randomize only once and stick for the rest of the playthrough.
  • Include Skull Tables, Static - Skull table is included in the swap possibilities for all tables regardless of location. Tables randomize only once and stick for the rest of the playthrough. I thought it would be weird for there to be a skull table in Dragonsreach one day and a clutter table the next, so there is no remix option for this file.

Evil Places?
EEEeeeEEeeevil. Subjectively determined. Undead, vampires, hagravens, cultists, that certain aesthetic.
Here is the list where the skull tables will show up if that option is selected:

I Want Extra Clutter! ENB Lights! More Skulls!
My intent in creating this mod was exactly what it says on the tin: simple. For an enchanting table diversification that really goes hard in the paint, try Weldingman's Enchanting Table Variants.
