DESCRIPTION

This mod patches Sanguine Symphony with new and existing sounds from Immersive Sounds Compendium. It is designed to be used with Audio Overhaul - Immersive Sounds Integration, and take advantage of Audio Overhaul for Skyrim's output models and audio routing. You can adjust the volume of these sounds through the Weapons slider.

The sounds are also significantly more subtle so they don't distract too much from gameplay.

This is not that major of an overhaul, but I totally understand that people are going to want to play with the new material sound effects. Other people might not like the sounds that ship with the original mod, and will appreciate the consistency this provides. Hopefully this patch and any further updates help.

CHANGES & FIXES

  • Light Armor now uses the default impact sounds in Immersive Sounds.
  • Mace and Arrow have new sounds for when they hit Heavy Armor – made from existing sounds.
  • Adjusted output models and meta data to better match Sounds Integration.
  • You can control the weapons volume through the weapons slider (not the Effects slider).
  • Removed any cached sounds, as most of them didn't make sense and will only really cause issues.
  • More subtle, non-intrusive sound replacer. Improved consistency between sounds. All sounds sound alike.

Note: I usually keep the weapons sounds around 30-40% in-game.

FREQUENTLY ANTICIPATED QUESTIONS

Will you replace this sound?

I would like to replace the death sounds later. But nothing like a full overhaul. I just wanted consistency as I played with Sanguine Symphony.
