About this mod

A complete overhaul for the Standing Stones powers.

How many times have you really hesitated before choosing a Standing Stone? Even with mods, some are just better than others, and some will never be picked ... period. I’ve really tried my best to make sure that EVERY Standing Stone makes you stop and say, "Ooooh... interesting"

My issue with vanilla Skyrim, and even with Standing Stone overhauls, is that some stones always end up feeling underwhelming.

Worse, many of these overhauls tweak things like:
  • Experience gain and leveling
  • Magicka, health, or stamina regeneration
  • Add powers
These changes often conflict with other mods or make certain mods fight each other around the same mechanics.

My goals with Angelic Standing Stone mod:
  • Add a stat bonus on every stone
  • Make every Standing Stone feel useful and have a clear, distinct identity
  • Stay true to the lore established in previous Elder Scrolls games (as much as possible)
  • Design powers to be inherently compatible with most other mods, not just via xEdit, but in how they function conceptually

The mods I have in mind that can make some standing stones overhaul useless are mods like Experience, Magic mods breaking the ritual stone power, Valhalla Combat and all the combat mods that have an impact on stat regen... 
If you find yourself genuinely torn between multiple Standing Stones, without needing to implement a single patch, then I’ve done my job.
