About this mod

A simple mod that adds teleport runes that allow player to teleport to major Skyrim locations in Survival mode (or in a non-map-fast-travel playthrough) in a gameplay friendly way after finding them while still keeping the fast travel restrictions balanced.
Teleport runes can be found scattered around major landmarks and cannot be crafted.

Survival mode, also called "walking simulator" is a nice concept to make your 100th play-through more interesting. While addition of food, warmth and reduced carry capacity make for a great challenge for your usual gameplay, disabled fast travel makes this mode a glorified walking simulator.
Quests and gameplay loop are designed around fast travelling to already found locations. Its not rare, to get a quest, which requires you to walk across the entire map.  Vanilla way of fast travel - carts - are sparse and not really that helpful in the long run.

Solution? Teleportation stones.
This mod adds a set of 28 ebony teleportation runes, that allow player to teleport/fast travel to 28 major Skyrim locations.
These runes cannot be crafted and each can only be found and obtained by player in their respective locations. This means player still has to manually travel to a given location first, then find the runes and only then they can teleport back to this location.
This keeps the requirement of having to find the locations, while still only allowing teleportation to major locations, instead of every possible point of interest.
Most of the runes are owned, so players have an additional challenge of stealing them without getting caught.

Once found, simply use the rune like a spell book. A teleportation spell will be added to Alteration category in Magic, under name of "Teleport Rune To...".

If a version is chosen, where a soul gem is required, then in order to successfully use a rune and teleport, player needs to have either a grand or black filled soul gem in their inventory. Once teleported, one soul gem will be used as fuel and consumed. If player has both grand and black soul gems in their inventory, Grand Soul Gem will take priority on usage.

This mod should also be a good alternative to a "no map fast travel playthroughs", where you can unlock fast travel in a natural way and use it only by using "lore" ways (here: teleport spells, instead of a out-of-game immersion breaking icon).

F.A.Q.
Q: Will you add more/all remaining teleport locations?
A: No, I wanted to balance out the "no fast travel at all" with "you can fast travel everywhere" options. I only added major locations, so you still need to actually do a bit of travelling in survival mode (or non-map-fast-travel playthrough). Adding more options or everything would defeat the purpose of this mod.

Q: Will you add crafting or other options of obtaining the runes?
A: No, I want the runes to be only obtainable via exploration as a natural way of unlocking fast travel. Since the runes are a 'spell', there is no way for you to lose them or use them up once you find and learn them.

Q: Compatibilities?
A: I tried making as little changes as possible to the mod. Runes use main strory line teleport markers, so unless there is some mod, that deletes these (this would be bad practise) or you use a mod that edits the interiors, where the runes are placed, then it should be fine to use with other mods.

Q: Im using a mod that edits one of the interiors, where the rune should be. I cannot find it anymore. What should I do?
A: Either load this mod afterwards, or use console command to give yourself a teleport rune as if you actually picked it up. You can use in console (~):
help "teleport rune" 4
This command will list all IDs of the runes. Look for BOOK type or SPELL BOOK type for your given location and then type in console:
player.additem <ID> 1
