It would be cool of the other bones in the game match the skeletons.

It would be glorious to have the brighter version a bit darker... it's reaaaaaally bright. Too bright

Thanks for the feedback. No problem. I will make a nmm installer where you can choose between different versions of the textures.

Noticing Skulls have a two sided miss toning of textures.

    4k Dark version used.

*The brighter version is fine, I checked. I have noticed also there is a black shape at the top/frontal area of the skull (in both 4k versions tested) and I think its a texture issue maybe.

Greetings, and thanks for the update.

After mooching about with the 4k Darker version I unfortunately still notice that tiny winy issue with the textures.

Could you tell me what lighting overhauls/mods/enb you are currently using?

      Natural View Tamriel (NVT) ENB
      and
      Realistic Lighting Overhaul SSE

Your texture mod is not overwritten by any files by the way.

This is a mapping issue. It's nothing to do with game lighting.

Latest edition is looking way better, and appreciate you sorting this out..

Oddly they look cleanly whiter when in the inventory compared to when in the world space they are then slightly toner but that's maybe my ENB ?

Skyrim SE does not support sRGB textures, so diffuse\normal will look dark. Dark normal map completely breaks model lighting.
